124 Old Eastwood Rd, Wilmington“Took a business trip to Wilmington and stayed here. I usually choose Hampton Inn as they are reasonably priced, clean and have a free hot breakfast. This one did not disappoint. The added bonus was a quaint little bar with reasonably priced beverages as well. Making another trip later this year and will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend if you are in the area. Also, within walking distance is a Texas Roadhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings and a Japanese Steak House.
Walkability: Plenty to eat within walking distance.
Food and drinks: Free hot breakfast and a friendly little bar with reasonably priced drinks.”
“Just the right environment of security and peacefulness, positive attitudes, welcoming like family to help speed recovery. Thank you for being available ??❤️?❣️”

202 Nun St, Wilmington“Stayed here 2x recently. Loved it so much the first time that I came back with my wife for the 2nd visit. She loved it too! Breakfast was amazing both times. Highly recommend staying here. Note - if you don’t like or can’t do stairs this might be problematic for ”
“It is a beautiful old house in the perfect spot, a 5 minute walk from everywhere I wanted to get to along the Riverwalk. The house is beautifully furnished, and my room was small but comfortable (perfect for a solo weekend retreat). They do a great job of creating a relaxing environment and regularly checked in with me via text. I plan on making many more weekend getaways here!Rooms: The real selling point for me was the garden tubs in every room. The house is nearly 200 years old, but the A/C and plumbing are in perfect condition.Walkability: The downtown Wimington area is just a couple blocks away! I didn't need to drive anywhere the whole weekend. However, parking in front of the hotel can be a little pricey.Food & drinks: All food here is vegan, but I was ok with using oaktmilk creamer so it wasn't a problem. There is self-serve coffee and tea 24/7 and breakfast served in the morning. I liked their cute room delivery packages, I had a sangria pitcher and snack tray in my room on arrival.”

5010 New Centre Dr, Wilmington“This was a great stay for the night in a great location. Leighton provided the best customer service I’ve experienced during check in and check out. We highly recommend staying here.”
“Clean. 2 queen beds. Fridge. Friendly service at check in and anytime we walked through the lobby. I called front desk to get more bathroom supplies and coffee, they were friendly and brought items to our room quickly. As a family of 4, it was a little tricky to use the bathroom sink or closet area while someone else was in the shower because the shower was all glass. You couldn’t get to the toilet while someone was in the shower without walking past them in the all glass shower. This may not be the case in the layout in every room. There were curtains to mostly close off the bathroom from the bedroom area. It truly is a loft design. The location was great for us in town for a wedding close by. You can walk out to the river for a nice view. The rooftop is a great view too. $20 a day for self parking. The lot was full when we returned in the evening so we had to use the parking garage around the corner. The hotel validates the ticket. We had a good experience here and it met our travel needs.”

They were busy because of the storm that came in and shut down several hwy's so staff was pressed trying to get people taken care of. But I really loved that it had ? truck parking! So clean and 18 wheeler parking in my eyes equals awesome. Thanks comfort inn”

I stayed 2 nights. I attended the free breakfast both mornings. Another friendly staff member named Latricia kept the area clean and well stocked. We definitely enjoyed Belgian waffles both mornings and fresh coffee.
The location was ideal! Plenty of food options on the same street or just a short drive away.
Handicap accessible. Great parking.

“A little humid indoors at first (hey, North Carolina), but really clean and everything one needs for a night's stay. "Beach feel" decor, but not overdone. Pleasant environment. Instructions from owner were clear and there wasn't an overwhelming checkout list. It was a studio space but still had plenty of room and the couch folds out to a bed so there's sleeping for 4. There's a desk, wifi, television, and kitchen with mini but working fridge & stove. Also has microwave. This is perfect for someone who is working remotely but wants to be near restaurants, beach, & shopping. Also has mood lighting if you're looking for a romantic get-away. ? Didn't grab any photos but the ones on air bnb are accurate.”

Rooms: Well equiped, furniture seems to be relatively new.

“You get what you pay for. Staff is extremely friendly. Rooms are very spacious. There are some minuses to it though. It is made for short people. Maybe 5ft tall. AC is not the best for someone who has hot flashes or just got in general. Be is very hard. If you like firm beds you will definitely get it. Towels are rough. Little bit of a smell but goes away after you've had AC on for a bit. Husband was very disappointed that there was no vending machines. It is clean, lots of room, and great water pressure.”
“The name of the hotel is now Coastal Inn & Suites. The staff including the management is excellent. The only issue is the location. It's all industrial around it”

“Visiting on Labor Day weekend and needed something last minute. Travel Inn was the onlyplace that could take me. Close to many stores, 20 min from Wrightsville Beach. I stayed 2 nights and my room was clean, decent price, friendly housekeeping service. Would stay again if I needed to. Only thing is the traffic/outside noise but the air conditioner helped to drown the outside noise out. ? Also; I wish they had of had breakfast other than that 10/10 would recommend.”

5600 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington“Everything was great! The room did have a small odor when we first got there but ran to Walmart across the street and got some room spray and everything was good after that. Great and quiet location!
Nearby activities: The beach is only about 10 minutes away. A lot of restaurants also which is about 10 to about 15 minutes driving.”
“I received a call from Wilmington that our brother was very sick. I left immediately arriving in the late afternoon. I had no idea where to stay and limited funds. The Baymont had a room available at an affordable rate and was located near my brother's home. At first, I was hesitant about getting a room there as I arrived after dark and there were quite a few men in the area, and I was alone. I soon learned that these were men working with construction crews. They were no problem, early to bed and early to rise without any late noise. In fact, I felt safer knowing my room was sandwiched between two groups of these men. This became a theme while we were in the Wilmington area. Wilmington is booming. Working class men are everywhere during the week. O.K. The Baymont is not the Ritz. My room was functional. The bed was very comfortable. They have done remodeling on a budget, in my opinion. Someone had to come and show me how to use the television. But everything worked and my needs were met. It is unrealistic to book a room at the Baymont expecting more than a basic setting. But that bed was incredibly comfortable and that counted for something. My brother had to stay with me the next night and we had to share the bed. He was desperately ill and, as a result, not easy to manage. I explained to the staff that he was with me and cautioned them not to be alarmed when they saw us leaving in the morning and here is the reason, I will never forget the Baymont and will always hold them close to my heart. I loaded the car to leave and went back into my room to get my brother. I knew it was not going to be easy, but the job had to be done. As I was leaving the room and was struggling to help my brother two women who were cleaning rooms came to my aid. Catherine and Lala! They took control and my brother let them. They were gentle with him and had him in his seat all the while encouraging him and keeping him safe. CATHERINE AND LALA! You are the best and you were angels to me that day! Many of you reading this review will understand the power of kindness when it is offered to us by strangers. I was worn out and my brother was very sick. The simple act of helping us made up for any of the lack of glamour at the Baymont. So, don't expect the Baymont to provide much beyond a hot and a cot, so to speak, but do expect to encounter caring employees who respond to your needs. If you are grouchy and difficult to please do yourself and the staff of the Baymont a favor and pass on by. Wave at Catherine and Lala for me! Happy travels!”

“I travel all over the world and there is no better host than Fran!! She is a truly the kindest, warm and welcoming person that you will ever meet. She made my stay in Wilmington enjoyable and easy. Fran took care of everything and offered local sites and suggestions. The Inn is in a great location: close to dining and the waterfront. I am looking forward to another stay soon!”
