Beautiful Beautiful views!Nearby activities: The Beach of course!Safety: Plenty of outdoor lighting.Walkability: Walk to the restaurant and beach.”

“Location Location Location!Rooms are exactly as the pictures suggest. My wife and I visited at the beginning of tourist season. Site has a small, private, onsite parking area, so they are limited to 1 vehicle per room (no boats or trailers). Each room has it's own kitchenette, and outside deck - perfect for afternoon and evening lounging. Our room was a Queen room, but it also had 2 bunk beds and the two captain chairs in the main room were perfect! Room had a small, but full sized fridge.Road noise was minimal, which was good. The location was EXCELLENT as it allowed great access to Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. The left-turn into the parking lot was not an issue since the traffic over the bridge was managed by the stop light on the other side. Never had a problem getting IN or OUT.Bobby was one of the week-day managers and he reached out several times prior to arrival to make sure that everything we needed was ready. Check-in was quick, and painless. Room check-out was simply putting my keycards in a drop-box and leaving.Since we were early in the tourist season, the pool was not yet open and thus we couldn't test that out. But it looked like it could accommodate 5-10 people without issue. Small sun deck had 3 tables with chairs and there a few deck chairs as well.Only downside is they do not do 1-night stays. Thus, this would not be a choice for 1-night get-a-way.Prices are a bit higher than Google lists, but the website is usable and accurate, yet appears a bit antiquated.”

“My wife's family's been coming to Wrightsville Beach for years (Aunts Uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters, spouses, and kiddos) and the Carolina Temple Island Inn has been a mainstay and central location for our stay for decades. I married into this family tradition and am now hooked on this place and my family will be staying here for years to come. Steve and Mary are the friendliest folks (and owners) and it wouldn't be a vacation without seeing them. I highly recommend staying here!”

“Just spent 3 days and 4 nights here. Had a room with ocean view and wrap around balcony. Very nice. Bed comfortable. Room clean. Small kitchenette with microwave and two burner stove. We brought food with us to cook and/or heat up. We saved some money by doing this and it worked well for us. We could have used a toaster but not a major issue. People nice. Easy access to the beach. It is not a modern motel but clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend.”

“Beautiful, clean, relaxing amazing place! We came here for just one night for my wife’s 43rd birthday just to get away and have a different vibe from Jacksonville, NC with the ocean front view! People are so nice here and it’s all remodeled! I would 100% come back and we already recommend this to our buddies in Jacksonville and our friends and family in Michigan! Great job to the place as a whole and to the amazing STAFF MEMBERS! JOB WELL DONE! “I liked the hotel, the sea view is amazing.The glass on the windows was a little dirty.Also, the cups/dishes seemed to be dirty as well. But that's not a big deal.The location is just perfect! Beach access is right there and you can walk on the beach ❤️ very very lovely!”
