Brooke has an amazing store with unique pieces that you’re guaranteed to get compliments on; and it’s sure wonderful to see & support woman owned businesses! “Back in December, my family and I visited Asheville for the Christmas season. We stopped by Spartina as my mother is a huge fan of their products and wanted to show and share with me. We ended up purchasing a crossbody as well as several other products. About a month and a half later, my crossbody’s front clasp broke off completely and as a sort of “shot in the dark” I called Asheville back to see if there was some way I could get it fixed. Patricia, the manager, went OUT OF HER WAY to help me. Not only did I see a new crossbody within a week, she made sure I was happy with the whole circumstance, going to great lengths to be loyal and kind to her customers. I’m not really much of a “posh brand” shopper, but Patricia and the crew at Spartina 449 in Asheville are incentive enough to go back again and again. Thank you guys!”
“Kinda pricey. Used to have the best largest collection of bumper stickers. Great service. The jar with the least incense sticks on the middle shelf to the right side is the best scent, but I can't remember what it's called. Will be coming back for the Glow in the dark mushrooms”

“We popped into this lovely shop on a whim (and to get out of a rainstorm). My daughters and I were delighted with the beautiful pieces they had available and purchased a few keepsakes from our visit to Asheville. “I searched and searched for the Mystery Machine shoes by Irregular Choice and finally found them, however, the timing was not ideal. I was between paychecks and do not use credit cards so I had already spent my budgeted allowance for clothing/shoes. I called and spoke to Renee. She offered a solution so I was able to purchase them when I got paid again. I also prefer to support small business and highly recommend purchasing from them!”
“Charmed Asheville is a cute shop on Broadway. The store is larger than it appears from the door as when you keep going in you will find more and more items to buy. The clerk was very friendly and even offered to hold my items at the register while I continued to browse. I would suggest looking at your receipt before you leave as I was charged for an extra item but didn't discover it until I was home. But the store did issue me a refund for that so all is good.”

“Sugar Britches is one of my favorite shops to peruse downtown. You never know what you'll find in there, but you can pretty much guarantee whatever you do find will be epically fabulous. The folks who work there are super friendly, and you can tell they really enjoy what they do! Go in there with some time on your hands - there's a lot to see!”

“My husband and I randomly found this store today and we are absolutely ecstatic that we did. Not only were the staff super helpful but they had the cutest home decor, consignment furniture, artwork and locally produced jewelry, soaps, and all kinds of amazing finds. Better yet, the prices were incredibly reasonable. We will definitely be back!”

“An odd review as I haven’t shopped here in a while, as I live in a different state now. Elementality was my first job when I was 16 years old, so 12 years ago! They paid me incredibly well, very ahead of their time for paying a decent living wage, I can only imagine how well their sales people are paid now. I was taught so much and even got to participate in photoshoots which I remember making my teen self very happy and feel involved with the business. I wish this business nothing but the best and am so happy to still see them thriving!”
