Weaverville Pet Pantry
1 Merrimon Ave, WeavervilleWell, we finally stopped in here today. We've heard a lot of the place. So when Goosers collapsible bowl went missing I had to get him a new one. They were very friendly & have a lot of good everything for pets. We ended up leaving with more than we came for lol. If you're looking for a new pet spot or in a bind, I recommend these nice people? ✅️.

Mountain Animal Hospital
18 Moore St, WeavervilleShout out to Dr. White and her staff at Mountain Animal Hospital in Weaverville. Rockit is very anxious and they did a wonderful job with him. We were able to get his exam done, blood drawn and shots given...that's no small feat with this scaredy-cat pup of mine!

Broad River Animal Hospital
121 Barnardsville Hwy, WeavervilleEveryone at Broad River Animal Hospital is amazing. The doctor took the time to call and discuss medication options to give her the best quality of life as she aged and walking became difficult. And when it came time to make the decision to put our 16 yr old dog, Nala, down, they were fantastic. They set up the room, gave us privacy, explained the process and a few days later we received a card with her nose and paw prints in it, which meant so much to us. I cannot recommend them enough.

Allen Animal Hospital
24 Critter Trail, WeavervilleI so appreciate Dr. Allen's approach to pet care! Walk-ins only. No extra exams or upcharge. Playful nature. Many might be startled by his style of humor or methods but it is truly refreshing. You feel like you have entered into an episode of "All Creatures Great and Small". I Love it! He loves the critters ?

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Allgood Coffee
10 S Main St, WeavervilleThis is our favorite coffee shop in Asheville. Almost all of their baked goods are vegan. Today they even had a vegan pop tart! The atmosphere is cozy and you will often find a guitarist playing softly. Lots of regular locals, and a very sweet counter crew. If you are in a hurry it might not be the place to go, they take their time and make everything with love.

Vintage Kava
141 Reems Creek Rd, WeavervilleIt's a very relaxing kava bar with good vibes. The studio/lounge/music room off of the deck is a nice touch. The drink prices are fair and drinks themselves are creative.

113 N Main St, WeavervilleFood was wonderful and incredibly cheap. Coffee was good. Spacious seating inside, friendly welcoming environment, super nice staff. Would go back in a heartbeat. Good vegan options too!!

Wagbar
320 Merrimon Ave, WeavervilleI seriously have nothing but good things to say about this location. Being new to the area, I was nervous about finding a community that I fit into and I quickly found that at the wag bar. No matter what time of day I go, there is always someone there who I jive with. Whether it's over the music playing, the drinks on draft selection, or favorite foods from the food truck that comes by. Everyone is very accepting and quick to welcome you and your dog. They are also very quick to help in times of trouble, even when they hardly know you. Being a parent of little kids also, it provides the perfect escape from a crazy day, or a crazy week, even if it's only for an hour. You don't need to drink to enjoy your time here. They do amazing events, generally with someone who grabs adorable pictures of you and your dogs for free. They are just really good people here, staff and owners. The dogs help too on tough days by providing all the snuggles and pets
Dog-friendliness: My dogs have found some of their best friends here. Most all of the dogs are extremely friendly and love to wrestle and play or just run around

Main Street Grill
5 S Main St, WeavervilleOur party of 9 arrived hungry not knowing how quaint this grill was. We were beyond pleasantly surprised with the incredible blackened grouper salad most of us ordered. Cooked to perfection, perfectly spiced, it may have been the best grouper some of us have ever had. Our server was pleasant, the atmosphere was artsy with a diner vibe.

Eluvium Brewing Company
11 Florida Ave, WeavervilleMy wife and I bring our dog to Eluvium several times every time we stay in Weaverville. The beer and service are always excellent. We have started getting food too, and every bite has been great. Wings, burgers, wraps and tots are always tasty. We will continue to visit every time we can.

Blue Mountain Pizza
55 N Main St, WeavervilleThe pizza was some of the best pizza we have ever had! We ordered ours to go and the staff was amazing! The inside of the restaurant was so cute! Hopefully we can get the opportunity to eat there sometime. We are in town volunteering here in WNC to help with hurricane Helene relief efforts, but I want to come back just for the pizza! Support local, y'all! Especially Blue Mountain Pizza!

Twisted Laurel Weaverville
10A S Main St, WeavervilleWent to Twisted Laurel for dinner. After a short wait of 20 minutes, we were seated. Our server was pleasant and listened well, as she provided everything we asked of her. I ordered the chicken parmesan. It was very good with a tangy marinara. The marinara was not sweet, like you get in most Greek restaurants. They have a nice selection of beers, mostly local breweries. The wine list was sad and short, so I chose a local brew. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a large table that was super loud and inconsiderate. I will come back again, just not on a Saturday night.

Well-Bred Bakery & Cafe in Downtown Weaverville
26 N Main St, WeavervilleFirst time to Weaverville. Fell in love with Well-Bread Bakery. In addition to the delicious pastries and decadent desserts, their cafe breakfast selections are amazing! We ate breakfast here three days in a row -- perfection! The service is always friendly, the coffee was great, and the small-town storefront atmosphere is lovely -- everything "Main Street USA" is meant to be.

Well-Bred Bakery & Café Food Truck
232 Reems Creek Rd, WeavervilleUpdate: I'm going to remove a star because, as much as I love to frequent this place, the coffee is consistently weak, and very seldom warm. Everything here is so perfectly accompanied by coffee, so this is a shame. Everything remains delicious, otherwise. This is one of the few places in town you can just walk into and buy a crème brûlée on any given day, which scratches a particular itch of mine. The cookies, shortbread, coffee cakes, and pastries are also great, and their savory lunch items are tasty and refreshing. This is still my favorite brunch-lunch quick stop in Weaverville, and Well-Bred remains one of the most reasonably priced pastry shops in the Asheville area. The service is warm and friendly, and the atmosphere perfectly matches the dining experience.

Soba Sushi and Noodles
76 N Main St, WeavervilleWe had a really good meal here! I'm gluten free and we were able to get chicken hibachi and fried rice. My hsuband had a sushi platter and really liked it. The waitress was knowledgeable and said they could make most things gluten free. We will definitely be back!
Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options!
