Smoky Mountain Diner
70 Lance Ave, Hot SpringsThis small diner sits directly off the Appalachian Trail and is known for good food and lots of it. Hikers get really hungry and there are a lot of them, so this place caters to that need. Bring your appetite and prepare for an incredible meal, diner style type food - excellent. I went with the Smokey Mountain Breakfast - 3 eggs over easy, biscuit and gravy, hash browns and chopped steak - 12$. The food was good, inexpensive and there was a lot of it. This is what you expect from a diner and it doesn’t get any better.

Artisun Gallery and Cafe
16 Andrews Ave S, Hot SpringsThis small coffee shop/ice cream shop/local shop is awesome. Come in and enjoy an ice cream or a coffee on a couch as you listen to jazz and peruse their books on the Appalachian trail. Stare off into their artwork and just lose yourself in lovely people and their conversations.

Big Pillow Brewing
25 Andrews Ave N, Hot SpringsGreat brewery! Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Their beer selection is great, something for every tastebud. I had their west coast IPA and it was great. They have food available as well. If having an event, they have an area to rent out for the event. Parking is free and along the street. Can be limited when busy. There is a walking trail near by as well. Close to other businesses and shops to walk around afterwards if you wanted. They have bands once in a while in their outside seating area too.

Spring Creek Tavern
145 Bridge St, Hot SpringsNice place. I usually hear that Hot Springs only had one Restaurant and it wasn't this one. Eclectic decor inside but there's an outside deck overlooking a stream that runs through town. The menu is deeper than most taverns. Good sandwiches. Great selection of mostly local beers with a good mix of styles. Nice friendly people.
