Food Lion Warehouse is a well-organized facility known for efficient operations and a smooth check-in process. Many drivers recommend arriving early, ideally around 4 AM, to avoid long waits and ensure a swift experience. Check-ins typically begin at 5 AM, and drivers can expect to be processed quickly if they follow the recommended procedures. Upon arrival, it's advised to park in the staging area and walk to the check-in station instead of driving directly to the guard check. Once checked in, drivers will receive a lumper fee link to pay and then return to their trucks for further instructions. The unloading process generally takes about two hours, with many drivers reporting that they are loaded and out by mid-morning. While the experience is mostly positive, some feedback suggests that the lumper service could use improvement. Overall, Food Lion Warehouse provides a professional environment that supports timely deliveries, making it a preferred choice for many in the industry. Additionally, there are no overnight parking options available, but nearby truck stops are accessible for drivers needing to rest.
VERY DISAPPOINTED... MY APPOINTMENT AND GOT IN THE DOCK AT 5PM AND ITS 9PM AND STILL IN THE DOCK GETTING UNLOADED.... I KNOW IT DOES NOT TAKE 4 HOURS TO GET UNLOADED...AND WHEN I GO TO THE RECEIVING OFFICE TO ASK ABOUT MY LOAD, THERE'S NOBODY THERE TO GIVE ME AN UPDATE...... THIS IS BS
