“i am disappointed in belk. i’ve not shopped here in a very long while, so policies may have changed (obviously!) also, my kiddos received clothes from their granny at christmas, who kept gift rcpts for me to exchange for a different size.found a pair of chaps khaki school jeggings and a pair of earrings (bogo) upon checking out, i asked for prices on the items and was told 21.xx for the pants and xx for the bogo. deciding to purchase, i was asked if i had the app for an “extra 40% off”. glad you asked! why yes i do as a matter of fact i do.thinking i were getting 40% off a pair of 21.xx pants for my child, i whipped out the card and paid 23.xx! walking away after checking out puzzled i went back in to have the employee explain.so when you go to belk and think you’re getting a great deal, whether it’s a buy 1 get 1, or the classic % off, beware! these are off the original ticketed prices! false advertisement is done rather well at this place and they suck. what ever happened the hudson part of belk?”

“Bought a small wood stove and it was damaged in shipping. Called the store and spoke with Anna. She’s great. She ordered us a new one and they refunded shipping. Eric was awesome too. He always is when I go in. If you need anything these are the two to talk to. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Raises are in order for Anna and Eric.”

“This is a big store. It's clean. They have so much stuff for the whole house. Plus gift items, small furniture, clothing, and snacks. It would be easy to spend the day in there. I knew they had small furniture so I went there with a mission. To find a stool or small chair for my bathroom vanity. They had 2 or 3 but they were all too tall for my purpose, more like bar stools. So that was disappointing and the reason for the missing star. The day didn't get any better. I was taking pictures for this review, I dropped my phone, as I've done a few times before with no problems. This time, shattered the screen ??♀️ so I didn't stay. But I'll be back to shop again.”

“I see the most Christian like women in this store that always remind me of the girl I had a crush on way back when! Small frame but big heart! Proverbs 31 women that make a man straighten up and want to be presentable in front of a lady, saying excuse me, Mam and yes Mam! Regardless, of her saying I did anything to offend her! It tickles me, when I catch myself acting like that and any young ? lady not noticing! Or if they do notice they smile and or say thank you for giving them the right of way!”

“This Family Dollar on Jake Alexander Blvd in Salisbury has the cleanest store and primarily the very best staff of all in town. They're welcoming, polite, and know their products. I'd rather drive a bit further to sjop here than walk into our other one that is nasty and plays music so loud you have to talk loud to ask a question.”

“Wait time to check out was less than 5 minutes. We were greeted with smiling faces, staff wasn't moody or irritable. I've been to 4 Burlington stores in less than a week. This one was by far the best. Floors clean, well stocked, and not a sense of chaos. Alarm went off on a pair of shoes and 2 staff members responded. I would come back if in the area. Only complaint is handicapped parking was on the side of the building instead of the front which equates to a longer walk for those who are impaired.”

“I think they need to do a better job of noticing patterns of high sell items and order extra ahead of time. For instance, captains wafers. I would buy them out every week, but now they don't sell them at all anymore. French vanilla cappuccino k-cups, I have to buy them a case at a time to make sure I have them because they go out of stock so often, and I can't have a delicious cup of coffee without them and start going into coffee withdrawals ?. The staff is pleasant, management has changed and most of the good managers have left, not all, but most. Hope it improves. If they are going to dedicate to self check then they need to take after thomasville and just go for it, having 18 aisles and 2 cashiers just doesn't work”
