“Absolutely perfect. The seasonal white chocolate strawberry iced coffee was delicious, balanced, not overly sugary. The selection and supply of books was delightful, with notes and call outs creatively displayed so you could feasibly walk in and choose the right book without help, if you wanted but the staff there seemed happy to recommend too. They also had literary themed cards, stickers and candles. Came home with a card catalog themed / Catcher in the Rye candle + a book + 2 iced coffees + if you can believe it, a treat for my dog!”

“I’d say this is my favorite Barnes and Noble in the area. They’re all pretty similar but this one has a decent selection of items and the layout is easy to navigate. Employees are very friendly too.”

“Really nice bookstore, not a ton of varied selection- mostly new and popular books. No used books, but very spacious, clean, and bright with enough comfortable indoor seating while you’re perusing.”

“My favorite record and book store in the US. Not the largest, not the biggest selection, but exactly what a used shop should be. Great staff, always a pleasant experience.”

“I love The Homeschool gathering place. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I love that they have an area for the kids to play. You can find gems in the free boxes outside. Even if you're not a homeschool parent, it's a great place to find workbooks to help your child. They also have parenting books too.”

“I wanted to thank you for quick shipment of a local author whose series I love. Everything was wrapped and packaged with care. No damage to my books. Amber was especially kind and helpful as she kept me up to date when some of the books were on backorder. When time/my health permits, I'll be taking a road trip down to Raleigh to see the store in person. Thank you again for a really pleasant experience!”

“What an absolute gem for any book lover. $2 for most books with absolutely no shortage of options. Check out their online shop as well. They also just opened up a duster store off Strickland Road called Wanderlust ?”

“Cozy and very, nice and helpful staff ✨I had a huge stack of books they held for me at the front and without me asking they already were looking to see if there was a special edition set in the back so I wouldn't have to purchase them all individually 5/5”

“Best place to go for comics in the Raleigh area! The owner, Dan, is SOOO incredibly well-versed in all genres and titles. You lose time talking with him and reminiscing about certain runs or artists work on certain titles, and the directions that the characters took in their evolution. Every time I step in this place you lose track of time talking and going through new and old stock. I definitely recommend going here if you have been into comics forever or you have a brand new reader wanting to get into the hobby. And everything is so clean and organized too!!!!!”

“The scholastic warehouse book fair was amazing! Buy one box and get one free, so for two boxes of new books it was $30. The workers and volunteers were helpful and friendly. They even had some free posters near checkout. Definitely, will be going back on and hopefully towards the first day of the sale. I went on the 4-5th day, and they still had a good selection but going on the first day would have been even better. My coworker and I split the cost and each got one box for $15. For the one box, I filled up with about 33-35 books, a thing of flash cards, a few fun pens (Harry Potter wands), a few pencil cases and a miniature cell phone with markers.”

“This place is organized, and the staff is doing pretty good with their job. I know there is one cashier at the checkout, and I think we need four cashiers there I think. At least the employees are professional. I love the Starbucks there where I bring my McDonald's there after I shop at Crabtree. I'm not much of a book person as a hobby, but they also have plushies and figurines at the back, and board games which is cool. I don't mind going back, and I might buy a book or a comic there I think.”

“Staff is very nice. Prices on apparel are decent compared to normal college wear. Besides apparel, you can find all small stuff you may need also. For example: basic school supplies, basic toiletry needs, batteries, etc.”

“Nice Price Books in Raleigh is a treasure trove for vinyl enthusiasts and book lovers alike. The staff here are impressively knowledgeable, always ready to assist or offer recommendations. They boast a large and diverse selection, with a particularly great array of pre-owned vinyl records. Browsing through their carefully curated collection is a delightful experience where hours seem to fly by. While the prices can be a bit higher compared to Discogs listings, the quality and variety justify the expense. Additionally, their frequent shopper discounts are a nice perk for regular customers. Overall, it's undoubtedly one of the best stores in Raleigh for those seeking a rich and enjoyable shopping experience.”

“Very friendly staff. Selection is somewhat limited, but they can get more from the sister stores in the area. They are also proactive to find rarities for you if you wish so :)”

“So this place is in an antique shop called Cheshire’s cat. We had a hard time finding it at first because there was no store front anywhere. Glad we found it! The entire antique shop was huge and super cool but this place was our favorites. Lots of vintage books, magazines, and more. If you like historical relics this place is for you!”

“Pretty great college in my experience. While taking acting 1 and 2 at this school the teacher is awesome, and the class was fun as heaven. Clean place to go to school. I made great friends back in 2019 there, and it was excellent. Even though I have social anxiety before because of high school, I embraced my anxiety and made good friends there. I learned a lot, and everybody there was on their best behavior.”

“The staff works hard to answer questions and provide needed materials for school.Ordering books/ supplies can be hectic but i's to be expected with the volume of people served on a daily basis.”
