Truist, a bank with a strong presence in the local community, has been providing a mixed experience to its customers. While some have praised the professionalism and efficiency of the staff, particularly during notarization and vehicle sale transactions, others have expressed frustration with the understaffing and lack of support from the new manager. The bank has temporarily adjusted its services to maintain the health and safety of its clients and employees, including offering teller services through drive-thru lanes only, in-person visits by appointment, and select branch closures. Despite these changes, the tellers have been described as good, though often overwhelmed and forced to apologize to customers for the long wait times. Nonetheless, one long-term customer has highlighted the bank's willingness to go above and beyond in assisting with various needs, suggesting that Truist's commitment to customer service remains strong in some instances. Overall, the bank's performance appears to be a mixed bag, with room for improvement in staffing and management support to better serve its clientele.
Tellers are good but way understaffed. New manager never helps the tellers to clear the line. I visit this branch every Friday out of necessity. Frustrating hearing the tellers apologize to all the customers and seeing that the manager does everything possible to avoid helping staff and customers.
