“My daughter and I had THE GREATEST assistance yesterday!Dakota was AMAZING!She went above and beyond to help us find what we needed!We came in with quite a request! She took her time with us and not once did she do it without a smile!I ordered 5 pairs of jeans online and my daughter ordered 2. They were all the wrong size and fit!She gave us options to try on, made sure the ones we needed were in the store or not THEN got out a tablet and went through styles online to help me find ones to replace the styles they were out of in my size!Now I’m not sure most folks nowadays would take that time to do all of what she did!Just a pleasant person and experience all the way around!Keep being great Dakota!! “Wow!!!! This was by far the BEST experience I have ever had shopping! Upon arriving to the store, my family and I were greeted very kindly. My husband had to take the little one next door to use the restroom (no big deal), once he left the lady who greeted us asked if I needed any help and assisted me with finding my size (she was spot on!). I have been working on updating my wardrobe an have had zero luck finding anything I like in any other store (Walmart, target, belk, kohl’s, Marshall’s, etc. I’ve been everywhere around the city and am not pleased with the selection of womens clothes) I found so many wonderful articles of clothing here. Every time I picked out something new, the lady was very kind in offering to take it to a fitting room for me. Once my husband came back with our little one, the lady was AMAZING! She kept our little one so preoccupied and wasn’t at all annoyed with our 3 year olds antics and (let’s be real) annoying questions lol. The extremely sweet lady kept our LO very busy and side tracked while I tried on clothes. These clothes were just what I was looking for! In style and fit! I bought so many clothes! Great selection! The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. The boutique is very clean!I will definitely be shopping here again! Looking forward to seeing what they have for a more spring/summer selection ?”

“Angelina is amazing!! More employees should be as helpful as Angelina. Started our vacation being told the outside pool at hotel was closed. Due to Forest fires in our vacation area we had to move hotels. The coastal hotel we ended up at had both indoor/outdoor pools open. Stopped in Torrid at Jacksonville NC for a swim suit. Angelina advised us corporate refused to send swim suits to this location. How outrageous is this!! A coastal area, thousands of people visit year round due to military base and beach. There is literally nowhere for a plus size gal to buy a swim suit!!! Really Torrid.... Come on. If Angelina had not been amazing and checked the returned items I would have spent five days on the Atlantic coast with no swim suit. Angelina is great!!! I only gave five stars because Angelina saved the day.”

“Supposedly, they were marking down a lot of home products that are already of clearance, to as low as 49 cents. My girlfriend was there, and before i had arrived, she had told me that some of the employees were overly aggressive to employees trying to observe the items. However, the way they serviced each person to the best of their abilities in the situation at hand. I also wonder why they would have such a sale like that on a Monday.”

“The staff is what makes this store stand out. The staff is friendly, helpful, and want to make sure that you are satisfied with your selection. The Ariat boots I picked out were from two different pairs, but they were the only two left of that size. The cashier noticed that the color of the two boots did not match. She first tried to darken the lighter pair up to match the other, when that didn’t work she got me a hefty discount on the pair that made me very happy!As far as boot selection, they do have a lot of selection, but for women’s work boots- I found none. The women’s boots were also geared more towards girly “pretty” boots than a serious pair of Justin’s or Ariats (I think I found one of the only Ariats in 9.5).Thanks for the excellent customer service!”

“I'm always greeted when I walk in here. I like their styles with many colorful prints and sizes up to plus sizes. Their shoes & boots are cute and reasonable. They're one of the only places left I know of that offers layaway on purchases. They also have womens undergarments. They do mark downs regularly and have a clearance rack. Fitting rooms. available.”

“I love JCPenny in the mall. I've shopped there for years. Great sales, good selection of clothes. They now have a JCP beauty cosmetic store inside which has replaced Sephora. Its organized, friendly, has many seasonal items & seasonal gift wrap. Catalog counter available for special orders & pick up. Credit card applications available. They've updated their clean public restrooms with infant changing table. The only service I do not utilize is their hair salon. As I've had a couple different bad experiences with them.( not recommended).”

“I wish that I would have gotten the girls name I'll have to go back and ask because that part is important and I will update when I find out but this girl...I am a short petite woman and I find it hard to find dresses that I don't have to take off half the material. This one particular dress I really liked but there wasn't any in my size. They had a different color so I was standing there debating on getting a color I really didn't like. This hunter green was just calling my name. So this employee walks up and she's trying to convince me that the other color (a coral color would still look good on me) but I just couldn't settle and I was getting ready to leave disappointed that I wouldn't have something to wear for mother's day. This girl saw it all over my face and wouldn't let me leave until I looked around again she walked up to me with this dress in the photos and at first I wasn't sure about the wider straps but she told me to take it home and if I didn't like it I could return it. Omg when I tell you...this is the most beautiful I have felt in a long time. This dress is not only beautiful in color and detail but this dress is unbelievably comfortable. And I believe that girl (I will get your name) knew that. So run don't walk to rainbow! Thank you whoever you are that wouldn't let me leave without this beautiful dress.”

“Plato's is a consignment shop. It holds women and men clothes. If you take your time and search through the items you can find some steals. Like barely worn American Eagle Jeans for less than $20. That's amazing! Shirts with tags still on them for less than $10. So not only some steal deals, but say you need to get rid of some clothes you can sell back to Plato's. It's a wonderful consignment shop I wish they were National.”
