Dave's Domestic Hedgehogs
1622 Worth St, HillsboroughMy entire experience with Dave’s Domestic Hedgehogs was seamless. He was punctual with response time and willing to answer all my questions and give advice. The business was professional and he took the time to let me hold and get used to my baby before we took her home. He provided a snuggle sack and bin for her to travel home in and that was very impressive to me. He also went through a “hedgehog physical” with me to verify my baby’s health and gender. I couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely recommend this business and most likely purchase another in the future! Couldn’t say anything negative!

Healing Paws Veterinary Hospital
540 Hampton Pointe, HillsboroughWe recently relocated from Upstate NY to the Hillsborough area and have been looking to establish our ‘fur crew’ with a practice that is local. Ironically, over the last 4.5 weeks, several of our colleagues and new neighbors highly recommended HP’s and now we know why. The care truly is phenomenal and everyone is so pleasant. And added ‘Bonus Points’: The office was very clean and the various artwork throughout is just perfect! We were in the office yesterday w/ both of our dogs (our 2.5 year old male yellow lab named ‘DUKE’ and his 4 month old little sister who is a Golden Doodle named Maple-Mae! Our appointment went very well; we saw Dr Kat for both dogs’ appointments (which was great because I love the idea of trying to keep the same provider for routine visits just for ‘continuity of care’. I was so impressed that Dr Kat started the visit by taking the first few minutes of the appointment time to not only introduce herself to me, but she then literally got on the floor and she played with both pups for a bit before doing their full assessments and required vaccines etc. I think her ‘method’ clearly worked well as both dogs seemed to trust her and Duke didn’t display any s/s of being anxious or anything which was great to see! After she took time to play with both pups, we discussed our goals of care and she also answered some questions for me. Needless to say, we absolutely loved our initial visit to Healing Paws and we will definitely be returning! Thanks again for everything! You truly have established such a wonderful practice that is ‘the full package deal’ and a ‘one stop shop’ which will work perfectly with our hectic schedules. Thanks again for treating our babies as if they are/were your own.

Hillsborough Veterinary Clinic
301 Meadowlands Dr, HillsboroughAs a pet fanatic, I've seen my share of vets. Dr. Martinez is my favorite I've ever worked with. Also, this practice really understands customer service. The staff have gone out of their way time and time again to offer fantastic health care and make us and our animals feel like family.

North Churton Animal Hospital
636 N Churton St, HillsboroughDr. Miller is experienced and knowledgeable, a refreshing change from the veterinarian franchises and chains. I thought my dog was dying, and Dr Miller diagnosed him with arthritis, prescribing meds quickly and at a reasonable price. My dog is back to his old self! The entire staff welcomed us, demonstrated their love and compassion for my dog It was well worth the 40 minute trip from Raleigh.

Piedmont Veterinary Clinic: King Elizabeth DVM
210 Millstone Dr, HillsboroughI have great admiration and respect for Dr. Tara Kipp at Piedmont Veterinary Clinic. She always goes above and beyond for my dogs, and for me, for which I am eternally grateful! At times when diagnostics are required beyond the means of the clinic, she always has great suggestions on what to do, where to go, who to see. She has been beside me with great understanding when I said good-bye to one of my beloved hounds and made those last moments together as special as could be. Her staff members are always kind and courteous. I think of Piedmont as the absolute best primary care veterinary service in the area.

Piedmont Veterinary Clinic
210 Millstone Dr, HillsboroughOur most recent experience was with a pet that was not a patient at Piedmont. He was a very sick baby. There were no available appointments but since we had another pet as a patient, they were able to work in our baby. The outcome was not what we wanted but the attention he received was so appreciated. Thank you Piedmont Vet!!

Top Dog Training and Resort
2112 Orange Grove Rd, HillsboroughElodie is always super excited to go to daycare. I usually tell her the night before that she is going, and then the morning of daycare, she is antsy because she is ready to start her day! She tugs against her leash to get inside (which she rarely does otherwise). They always shower her with attention! All of the employees that I’ve met are really friendly and great with doggies. At the end of the day, Elodie is exhausted from playing with her dog mates and sleeps well that night. I love the fact that they have a Facebook page and post updates on your fur baby throughout the day. They also give a report at the end of the day when you pick your pup up so you will know what kind of day they’ve had. I’m highly pleased with Top Dog and would recommend them to anyone!5/24 Elodie is still going here and extremely excited when we pull in their driveway. I wish I could add more stars to their review! This past week was Elodie’s second birthday. They threw her a little birthday pawty and gave her a doggie cookie-cake! I updated the photos to show a screenshot of a video they provided to me. I’m so pleased with their care of my fur baby ❤️

Radius Pizzeria & Pub
112 N Churton St, HillsboroughWe always enjoy dining at Radius and appreciate the gluten free options. The food is generally good and the service is excellent. The wings are really delicious and the people are so nice who work there! My only complaint is that the fries tend to be on the mushy side and don't travel well for take out or take home.
