I feel like I learn something new every time I come in the store. When I first got my dog, this was the first building he ever entered that wasn't our home. That staff at PATC made this a wonderful experience. Everyone here genuinely cares about the wellbeing of your pet. Hillsborough is very lucky to have PATC in the neighborhood!

1622 Worth St, HillsboroughFrom the first time I spoke to him on the phone I knew he legit cared about his animals/babies. He replied very quickly within less than a minute and was very good at updating me on when I would get my baby! Today I took my journey to buy from him and as soon as I saw him he treated me with the upmost hospitality and immediately put my baby in my arms and gave me some gifts that came with my purchase. My hedgehog is amazing and it's all thanks to dave. I sent him a picture of my baby when I got home and let him get settled in and Dave was more than happy about the photos of my baby. Guys, PLEASE buy from him, he is seriously the best at what he does!!!!!It has been 3 years and just yesterday I bought a new baby from Dave!!!! I couldn't write another review so I guess this is the next best thing. I would rate 6 stars if I could. My new baby is the sweetest thing and we are so happy that we could bring her home!!!! PLEASE buy from Dave. He is truly the best in his field. I hope you see this Dave!!!!

210 Millstone Dr, HillsboroughI cannot recommend this office & especially Dr. Kipp enough. She always goes above and beyond for my pets, no matter the situation. The office regularly reaches out between visits to check on my babies, which I love, but the biggest testament to their character is how they responded to an injured stray kitten that I found— when he needed immediate care, they were willing to see me same day, but I ended up taking him to another vet that could see me a little earlier. Despite not having him as a patient, they reached out to check on him & when he ultimately did not make it, they all sent a lovely card with their condolences. TO A CAT THAT WASNT EVEN THEIR PATIENT. It is so clear that they genuinely care about you & your pets. I am without a doubt the most annoying helicopter pet parent there is, and I do not trust anyone with my animals, but I trust Dr. Kipp with their life every single time. I am so so grateful for this incredible team!

Knowing that Dr. Miller has an emergency vet medicine background, I was comfortable bringing my 1.5-year-old cat straight to him when I knew she was in danger. I called ahead, ran a red light or two, and got her into an exam room within ten minutes. Everything was explained to me, including visuals, like seeing a normal sample next to my cat's sample. I was given exact pricing for the workup right away, so I didn't have the added stress of wondering if I could afford the first stage of my cat's care. I had heard that vets and vet techs did all the jobs of every team member in the human healthcare system, but it hit home when I peeked through the window and saw Dr. Miller at a microscope, doing the work of a human pathologist.
We came up with a plan, but when Moonshadow got worse and the plan had to change abruptly, I felt comfortable with the recommendation that I have Moonshadow euthanized. Even that plan had to change when her terrible physical condition prevented Dr. Miller or the tech from inserting an IV as usual. Once we had the new plan underway and Moonshadow was finally comfortable and no longer afraid, the very kind tech took good care of both of us while I listened to Dr. Miller doing something I've done myself many times - switching back and forth between the crisis and routine care, changing his demeanor seamlessly at the doorway every time he left to examine a healthy happy puppy. Having walked away from many human deaths and gone straight back to my other patients' routine care, I know it's not easy, but it's necessary to keep your other patients feeling comfortable. I know that the tech who stayed with me had to do the same thing after I left, so props to her, too. It was nice to know that the same tech who was at Moonshadow's first kitten appointment helped her at the end of her life too. They took great care with details before I left, making sure everything was as minimally stressful for me as possible.
In short, I will continue to bring my pets to NCAH, even though I'm about to move half an hour away.
I would also like to congratulate Debbie on her retirement. Anyone reading NCAH reviews will see Debbie mentioned. She was the first face I saw at NCAH, and her effusive kindness is missed by many!

540 Hampton Pointe, HillsboroughWe’ve been coming to healing paws since our boy, Finley was just a puppy. Today we had our senior wellness visit for our 11 year old setter. Both Dr. McLean and her nurse (I’m so sorry I cannot remember her name!) were positively fantastic. They provided thorough education, I didn’t feel rushed, and they took the time to explain the pros/cons for different treatment options for our senior canine. I felt heard, and they helped me prioritize my goals for my furry friend. Love them.

Top Dog Training and Resort

I usually tell her the night before that she is going, and then the morning of daycare, she is antsy because she is ready to start her day! She tugs against her leash to get inside (which she rarely does otherwise). They always shower her with attention! All of the employees that I’ve met are really friendly and great with doggies. At the end of the day, Elodie is exhausted from playing with her dog mates and sleeps well that night. I love the fact that they have a Facebook page and post updates on your fur baby throughout the day. They also give a report at the end of the day when you pick your pup up so you will know what kind of day they’ve had. I’m highly pleased with Top Dog and would recommend them to anyone!5/24 Elodie is still going here and extremely excited when we pull in their driveway. I wish I could add more stars to their review! This past week was Elodie’s second birthday. They threw her a little birthday pawty and gave her a doggie cookie-cake! I updated the photos to show a screenshot of a video they provided to me. I’m so pleased with their care of my fur baby ❤️

Dynamite for dancing or just sitting and listening or talking with a friend inside or outside. 670 N Churton St, HillsboroughCame in for the first time today for lunch with my mom . We where greeted as soon as we walked through the door and told to sit anyway we liked. Everything in the menu is fresh, not processed garbage like so many other places. We ordered an eggplant Parmesan sandwich, and a mushroom provolone burger with onion rings. Everything about each item was absolutely perfect. The eggplant sub was on a delicious crusty on the outside, soft and dense on the inside. Onion rings were fresh and thickly cut with a really nice crispy coating. The burger was a fresh 6 ounce burger that was seasoned well with thick provolone and fresh sauteed mushrooms. We will definitely be back when we visit Hillsborough in the future. Thank you Stephanie for taking such good care of us.

The only thing stopping my wife and I from stopping here more often is the fact it is in a different town as we live in Chapel Hill. Every meal we have eaten here we have enjoyed and I personally like the fish tacos and mushroom Swiss burger. They have a nice selection of beer and liquor. Recently I took my wife and sister-in-law here and we all liked our meals very much. There was a little snafu with the bill and it was as much my fault as anybody else's and the management handled the situation better than most would and the issue was resolved in a very friendly manner. The communications on the matter couldn't have been better or more professional. The only issue is that because it is so popular it can be hard to get a table or seat during busy hours. But seriously, hats off to the management and staff including bartender Grant. We like this place, pure and simple and we have met some awesome people here. Can't wait to get back. Cheers
