“Dr Wood, Carla, and the entire staff here are awesome! The care and compassion they show for all animals is a wonderful thing. I have been bringing my pets here for many, many years, and I highly appreciate their service.”
“Great staff and the Dr they show that they care and take time to explain every step and they are fair with prices I would recommend you to them if you have a sick pet or just a check up”

1910 N Church St, Greensboro“They were very informative, throughly patient with my pup. Well he's 70 pounds. But he's still my pup. Very affordable and cozy even. Not crowded when I went. The front ladies were very sweet and kept eye contact but friendly. We will be going back. And they did his nails too. I've been looking for a place to call home for him. Even if we move I'll be going to them. Thank you so much.”
“Katie loves her vet appts and grooming appts. I have used Cobb for over 15 years and highly recommend Cobb. The vets are wonderful. great staff and office staff. She is in good hands with Cobb Animal Clinic”
“Dr Chappell took care of both of my cats. With my last one, Mabry, she got sick and needed special care with feeding tubes and IV's for hydration. He went above and beyond. He worked after hours and stayed with her and kept me updated the whole time. Him and his staff kept her comfortable and monitored. Unfortunately, due to unavoidable organ failure, she passed away but I was able to be with her and be 100 percent confident that all efforts had been exhausted to try and help. His staff and Dr. Chappell were great and overly accomodating with the entire process. They volunteered to do far more than many other vets would ever consider doing to try to help. 2 weeks after her passing, they sent me a print of her nose and her paws. I never expected such a sweet gift but I know where my future pets will always be for their care.”
“This was our first visit to West Market, we had been looking for a new Vet for our pair of 2 y/o tabbies. We were so completely IMPRESSED with the entire experience. We saw Dr Listrani and Dr Evan’s, both were absolutely wonderful.
They took time with us and really showed an interest in our Fur Kids, you can tell they really love what they do.
From the Vet Tech to the front office staff everyone was so incredibly welcoming and kind.
We have finally found a Vet home for our kitties!”
“What a Great place. Very friendly and great customer service. I greatly appreciate Great Customers Service. it is something that some places don't have anymore. Thank You guys for taking good care of my Feral Cats and being patient with us when we are are running close to closing time. Thanks Again!!”
“Dr. Gentry is always comforting, knowledgeable, professional, explains diagnosis and treatment in a way that is easy to understand and takes time with her patients.”
“Friendly docs, techs, & staff. I've taken 4 dogs 3 cats and an iguana and they all love going to that vet's office. Zilla didn't scramble away that's about as much love as you're getting from an iguana ?”
“Everyone here is wonderful and knowledgeable! Every interaction I have had with anyone here has been positive. I feel that I am really heard and my questions get answered truthfully.
We were recommended this Vet by our family and so glad we listened.
They are great with our dog and I feel so good with her in their care.”
“Bean has had a traumatized experience with a vet prior but the team here was SO understanding and great with him, despite Bean being agitated. The moment we walked in the door it was an amazing experience. I’m so grateful to the vets here and cannot wait to get my other fur babies at this clinic!”

2001 Alamance Church Rd, Greensboro“This has taken me a month to write after the loss of my sweet boy, JJ. He was an 11 year old tuxedo cat and was strictly indoors. Because of this, I hadn’t gotten him established with a vet since he moved in with us from my mom in NY a few years ago. We never had any issues with him so when he started hiding under the bed and acting differently.. I knew something was wrong. Forest Oaks is less than a mile from our house so it was a no brainer to bring him here. From the moment I called (and cried) every person I spoke to was kind, caring and attentive. I told them what was happening with JJ and they had me bring him the next morning to get examed. Dr. Coble called me himself after he examed JJ, and said we could have a few possibilities on our hand- maybe diabetes but would need to recheck his levels after a few days. We spent the next few days stopping in and out and picking up medicines but JJ was going down hill fast. 2 weeks later we made the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye and end his suffering. Dr. Coble mailed a hand written card to us a few days after this and I was truly blown away by this act. The staff here treated us like they’d known JJ his whole life, from the ladies at the front desk to Dr. Coble himself. One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do was say goodbye but am truly so thankful to have come here and meet this team. If you’re considering Forest Oaks as your vet, do it. You will not be disappointed by their level of care and compassion.”
“(UPDATED) My mom and I have been taking our dogs here for years, Yoda (before she passed), Cash, and Nala. Never have I had an issue with this place. Aside from typical vet complaints (some longer wait times on busier days, vets are expensive, etc), they've always done their best to work with me regardless of any situation I've been in over the years. I love my dogs like they're my children, and you can tell they do too - but I don't always have $400 to spare on a single visit, so they usually work with me to make sure Cash is still taken care of - just over the course of a couple weeks instead of just one. In times like this, they should know how much that's appreciated, especially as a not-so-established semi-adult LOL.
Thank you Southwoods for taking care of our fur-babies. :)
UPDATE: Since about 2:00 this morning my Cash boy had been having an adverse reaction to a vaccine, and they spoke with me over the phone about what I could do to help them. In the anxiousness I forgot her name, but she also took the time to help me feel better about the situation as I was very clearly freaking out. The ultimate decision was to bring him in to be seen again. The vets and assistants (with all due respect, im not sure their official titles) were so quick to help him, and were so so nice to my precious boy. They gave him the medicine he needed, gave him lots of love, and sent us on our way with some home-instructions and medications. Thank you (once again), Southwoods for helping me take care of my baby❤️ Always recommend!!”
“The doctors and staff of Sedgefield Animal Hospital have been caring for our sweet golden retriever, Cody, for many years and have treated him as their very own, with love and tenderness. Recently, Cody left us and crossed over the rainbow bridge. Without the support and guidance of Dr. de Castro and the loving staff we would have been lost during his final days with us. Thank you for caring so much for our beloved Cody and for the beautiful tribute and card with all your kind sentiments.”

712 College Rd, Greensboro“My dog has never liked going to the vet, but since covid she has become a bit reactive with unfamiliar people. This of course only increases in stressful situations, like going to the vet. Finding vet care for her has been difficult and it has always been a highly stressful experience for both of us. We decided to try Friendly Animal Clinic this time around as her previous vet had changed ownership, and I'm so glad we did. While my dog was unable to be examined the first time I brought her in, the doctor used this as an opportunity to build rapport with her while we came up with a plan that would better suit her. I brought her back in following the protocol suggested by the doctor yesterday, and she was able to have a full examination done, and other than a couple brief moments, had no issues with reactivity. She was even wagging her tail, accepting treats from staff, and laying down at some points during her visit. The care and effort they put toward making my girl more comfortable did not go unnoticed and unappreciated. This will definitely be our home vet from now on!”
“I've been taking my pets to the Battleground Veterinary Hospital since the mid 2000's. They have performed surgeries, exams, vaccinations, and everything else under the sun for my pets throughout the years. Not only are they so clearly passionate and loving towards animals but they are affordable as well. I can take my pets here knowing they don't have a predatory practice pushing excessive procedures for the goal of wracking up a bill. I know my animals are in good hands here and they truly want what's best for your pet.”
“Dr upshaw is and has been my veterinarian for about 15 years and he has been fair prices is fair and he's very informative very pleasant I enjoy taking my animals there because I know they're going to be treated like family”
“Most compassionate and educational vet I have ever interacted with. Service was very prompt and Dr. Sara and her staff were extremely caring and helpful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone seeking assistance with their pets!”
“My pets have been seeing Dr Mortensen since I moved to the area in 2015. He always handles my pets with care. I have some not so friendly pets (a big outdoor tom cat and an antisocial old boxer). Every time I come and get them, they always seem in good spirits, never scared and always happy. He's one of the few vets that will encourage a second opinion at times and the prices are very fair and they do their best to get my pets in last minute (that tom cat gets himself into trouble). I think he explains everything thoroughly and is very kind and so is his staff. I would give an extra star for their office cat, Noelle, but Google won't allow it.”
“I've been bringing my dogs here a few years and always appreciated the personal attention everyone gives. After being at a previous vet's office that felt like a cold clinic, it's been nice to feel like this staff actually cares. Our oldest girl, a mini dachshund, had some skin issues that couldn't get resolved. I'd spent a lot of money and time on visits, shots and meds at the previous vet. One of the doctors here got her skin in better shape with the recommendation of regular bathing in medicated shampoo and cleaning skin folds with medicated pads. It really made her quality of life better and I was able to stop the allergy meds!Unfortunately, she recently became ill and it was time for a difficult decision. I'm grateful for Dr. Poore and Andrew's kindness, respect and compassionate care of me and our girl when it was time to say goodbye.”
“Absolutely love this vet office. Great people. Took the farm dog in the day I called and they were so great with how big chonkers is. Even squeezed in the kitten I found wondering around. Exactly the kind of place I want to have to take care of the pets.”

712 College Rd, Greensboro“I've been taking my dog here for the past few years and have had great service every time. My dog just went in recently for his annual exam and shots. They got me in quick and were friendly. The staff answered some questions I had about my dogs health and suggested some supplements to help him. He was pretty nervous during the exam but they were kind to him and made the shots pretty quick. My dog is very important to me so I really appreciate knowing the staff are kind and gentle with him and it seems like they really care. Scheduling is pretty easy and you can even do it online. I would say the prices are comparable to other vets in the area. I would definitely recommend taking your dog here if you're looking for a vet in the area!”
“I have a yellow Labrador retriever who I am partnered with as my hearing service dog. Lawndale Veterinary Hospital recently cared for her as she had an ear infection. They saw her the same day that I called which is so important to me for her care as I worry about her for everything! She responded to her medication right away which made me extremely happy that she was on her way to recovery!
I recommend Lawndale Veterinary Hospital for all of my girl's needs. She is not only my hearing service dog but my baby girl too! ?❤️?”
