“They are trying to maintain this facility. To be 100% honest, without understanding its historical significance, I am writing my review based upon current conditions.
BLUF: It seems to be stuck in the eighties, and there is the occasional 80s odor from what I can only describe as a Granny's old wet bar that had years of utilization that lingers around.
I must give the service at five stars because they were exceptionally professional and polite the entire stay.
Everything was in working order (mini microwave and fridge), including the air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and free of mold, as were the carpets and somewhat dated furniture.
Everyone has their own standards, so in some aspects, it's hard to give an accurate opinion. But for what it's worth, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, the shower was warm, and it had excellent water pressure, providing a free upgraded body exfoliation at no extra cost - a HUGE plus!
Overall, the area was peaceful, and I didn't have to listen to loud cars or music.”

“The hotel is nice, the breakfast is slightly above your basic hotel morning breakfast. The pool was perfect for small kids to play, the gym was big enough to enjoy, the Marco's Pizza place in walking distant, the friendly staff made the price worth it. I would recommend this place for those reasons. BUT the kicker was...the staff was helpful. The male maids seemed not so friendly, but the females were great. I lost my ear buds and could not find them anywhere after checking out. Ramona Johnson took time to walk with me to the room, gym and pool area to help me find them. She went above and beyond and was super nice. The lady overseeing the breakfast was running the area like a pro. She keep the place clean and allowed a few last comers to get a few items before the kitchen closed. Overall..Average rooms that were clean, great location, best workout room I have seen for a 3 star hotel and the pool served its purpose. I would stay again for the perks. Also in walking distant for snacks.”

4750 Lake Valley Dr, Fayetteville“This is a great hotel. It is conveniently located off of the highway and there are many restaurants and shopping plazas nearby. The rooms are very clean. The lobby is very modern and nice. The staff is polite and helpful. The parking lot is well lit and large. I will stay here again.
Update: I stayed here again and it was another great experience. I look forward to my next stay.”
“They use your key card to turn on the lights in the room, I was a little confused about the procedure. Apparently you have to leave the key card on the slot beside the door so lights stay on otherwise they go right back off. The room is beautiful and the comfiest bed ever! They do charge for premium wifi, never heard of that before. They have shampoo, conditioner and lotion attached to the wall with a pump for you to use. Guess they got tired of the little bottles. Free wifi works fine, I was able to stream with no problems. This was a suite with coffee and a tea bar a microwave and fridge. They have a complimentary breakfast but I have to leave for the work event before it starts. ? Would have loved to try that. There is a restaurant downstairs and a snack vending area with lots of options. Employees were very accommodating and nice.”

1381 Walter Reed Rd, Fayetteville“Clean rooms although if staying for extended stay room service comes every 14 days and you have to pay to get new towels to use. The only issue we had was that when checking in we were charged a different amount than what the reservation stated and was never caught until 45 days later and they made us leave short notice. Was not able to provide the amount required due to the bank not being open on a Sunday.”

As you check in the room are on the sam floor, so no need to be walking outside looking for your room. When ever you leave the hotel make sure to walk with the key card in case the door front door is lock. The hose will open it for you. But keep the card as a back up.. If your traveling need a night rest I recommend Mt Rose Hotel ?...”
“Great location and super amazing staff make this a value too good to pass up. I stay here almost everytime I'm in town. If you arrive at night, Big Momma is there to check you in and just listening to her feels like a hug from mom. They have customer appreciation nights every month with food and drinks and the coffee has always been hot and fresh. Two thumbs up!”
“Staff is really friendly just off the main highway but close to restaurants the mall there is a roses and a grocery store. Not far by rooms are clean and peaceful and quiet. They have the morning breakfast to go for you before you leave.$$if there's something you forget, they have a little store beside the front desk that you can buy small items at a reasonable price”

115 Lake Ave Building B, Spring Lake“I only rated they stay so low because the hot breakfast we normally try to make sure we have in the mornings from hotels was want a joke and two very poorly stocked even from 6:00 a.m. till 9:00 a.m. it was pretty bleak our first day there. The next day wasn't that bad but they definitely ran out of food really fast for just having a truck arrive. They seem to be lacking in. Keep up with the breakfast areas and the food being stocked again. I go there first thing in the morning when I wake up and once again right before they close up just to make sure the kids have some munchies. And being the choice privilege customer that I am I've stayed at very nice choice hotels and some not so nice but breakfast is normally something that don't ever mess up. So yeah.”
“This was a last minute daycation and I really enjoyed my stay. I do wish they had told me the elevator was broken because I was on the second floor and had two car seats and luggage for four to take upstairs but overall this place was really nice and I will be staying here againRooms: The bathroom is rather small compared to most hotels, the refrigerator was rusty inside and the vent seemed to be falling apart but I was pleased with everything elseNearby activities: There is a few parks to exercise and/or playSafety: The room doors have the safety stop on themWalkability: There are many stores to”

I understand smoking rooms are not for everyone, but I really appreciate having the option. Everything else was just fine, clean sheets, clean towels.Rooms: Plenty of space to walk around the bedSafety: Seemed to be peaceful and safe, I did notice one gate was closed at nightFood & drinks: Pretty basic: boiled eggs, honey buns, and coffee”

“Reasonable price, friendly staff, close to the airportRooms: The room was clean and spacious. Remolded bathroom with a huge shower. Clean carpets. Even though there is smoking allowed I couldn't smell any smoke.”
“The staff was nice and the rooms were tiddy. For the price u can't beat it. Especially compared to other motels in the same area for the same price. Had the best night sleep in a longg time.”

333 Person St, Fayetteville“BED BUGS!!! BED BUGS!!! BED BUGS!!! Single most disgusting motel I've ever seen. I was only staying there one night so I could attend a convention. Everywhere else was booked up and I wasn't planning to be at the motel much anyway. The entire property was gross. Everything was covered in grime and dirt, and I haven't even gotten to the room yet. The room was horrible. The microwave didn't work. The toilet seat was broken. The room was filfy. It's the kind of motel you'd see in a rob zombie movie. Absolutely repulsive. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay there. Also I got completely bitten up by bed bugs and I didn't even sleep under the covers. If I could put negative stars i would. This place should be condemned. There's a reason they have a no refund policy posted at the check in desk. Save yourself the money and possible diseases you will get here and book somewhere else.”
“If you're looking for a clean hotel to sleep a few nights this is it. No fancy stuff, just a clean comfortable bed with an in room air conditioner that's quiet, and fresh hot coffee in the lobby. The only bad thing about the place is the location. Being close to a very busy street police are constantly pulling people over in the parking lot, making the place look bad.”

Rooms: Bring your tissue box, breakfast was scanty, clean

Many activities on the post itself”
