116 W Main St, Durham“I had a delightful experience at this charming bookstore! The staff's genuine kindness and passion for reading created a warm atmosphere. The curated book selection was excellent, and I couldn't resist picking up a James Baldwin candle and a captivating romance novel. It's a gem for book lovers seeking a welcoming haven.”
“Great location! Especially if you need quick gifts. They've done a great job with many small gifts through the front of the store. Of course the book selection is great too! (FYI- Starbucks in location. Buy your books first, you'll get a Starbuck's coupon!).”

720 9th St, Durham“A larger than expected little place with a great selection of front & backlist and kids. Personally, I didn't see any used books. They also have magazines, which is a little rare for an indie store. Really enjoyed it.”

770 9th St, Durham“Such a cute store. It tiny like it's name but super adorable. They sell children's clothes, toys, puzzles, jewelry, decor for bedrooms, books, etc. Majority of the toys give me the Monastery feel. The employees were super nice and welcoming.”
“Same problem as a lot of used bookstores, which is that there's a reason people didn't want these books. A lot of the books are low quality, dated, or not of general interest. Does anyone want a political humor book from 15 years ago? Pretty good selection of classic literature though. I'm giving it four stars because some people might enjoy the used bookstore experience more than I do, but it wasn't for me.”
“What else can I say about Victorious Praise, you have a church and a Pastor that loves his people. The atmosphere is amazing with people greeting you as soon as you enter the building. I met my wife at growth groups because of Pastor Will taking a different approach on Bible study. If you come to one service you will get the word and truth. So come on out you want be disappointed. Tell them Deacon Bert sent you.”

705 E Lawson St, Durham“It was okay . Very pricy. Some deals . I saw the shirt I was wearing still on sale. Good variety of alumni stuff. We are blessed to be the best HBCU in the nation doing business in a great city.”
10AM - 9PM
8030 Renaissance Pkwy Suite 855, Durham“Two story Barnes & Noble with well stocked and organized shelf space. Displays were in good locations so as not to obstruct the flow of foot traffic. There is an escalator and elevator inside this location. Otherwise, this is your typical B&N. Checkout was friendly.Could have been a 5 star store but either there was an unusually higher number of restroom users than normal or the staff don't clean the restroom as often as they should.”

2720 Chapel Hill Rd Suite C, Durham“Just went but it’s online orders only for pickup right now. The volunteer gave me the attached leaflet for more information. Looks like a good option for by appointment book donations as well.”

“Black owned business with immaculate vibes. Coffee is great, and the books are even better. Literally in my contender for top cafe in the triangle. The staff are so friendly and they know customers by name, so welcoming!”
