333 W Mills St, Columbus“The BEST CVS Pharmacy Team, Hands down! Thank you, Mills Ave. Team for the best customer service. Linda is one of the nicest pharmacy professionals, along with LITERALLY every other pharmacy team member that I have interacted with whose name I don't remember.I now drive from Spartanburg, SC to this CVS location because of the pharmacy team members. They are so kind, courteous and helpful. This CVSRx location should be the leaders in teaching and training other CVS pharmacy staff members in customer service.SC Location:I have no intention on ever returning to the Gardner Rd. CVS pharmacy in Spartanburg, SC, despite it being 5 minutes from my house.Back Story:I have been with CVS for over 15 years, filling the SAME (ADHD) prescription. I've never requested a prescription early, "lost a prescription," "Had a prescription stolen" or requested/done anything in literally 18 years that would cause ANY Rx to behave like I am a drug seeker like the rest of parents and patients trying to get their Rx filled.Locating CVS in Columbus:With the pharmaceutical shortage, the CVS that I typically use (Located on Gardner Rd. Spartanburg, SC) was not able to keep my medication in stock; I'm sure by no fault of their own. HOWEVER, the CVS on Gardner Rd. SC was beyond rude, honestly just mean to me when I would call to see if a shipment had come in after 2 weeks of going without my medication- It's not like I was bothering them daily. My doctor would instruct me to ask CVS what milligram they did have in stock, so she could write the Rx based on their supply. The Gardner Rd. CVS in SC actually refused at one point to tell me- Stating "We can't just tell you what narcotics we have." I was like "WHAT? Just take 2 minutes to open my account and you will see that I have been a customer here for 18 years, same medication refill."It wasn't about the SC CVS being unable to receive my medication; There is/was a national shortage. It was about their verbal frustration just because I called to check. No empathy for what I was going through every month for the previous 5 months; just frustrated they had to deal with it and treated me like a drug seeker (despite being on the same medication for 18 years with the same pharmacy). When dealing with this recent medication shortage & being spoken to like a bother, I ran across a review that I had left for the Gardner Rd. South Carolina location a couple of years prior and realized how rude and mean this location always has been to my husband and I. After almost 3 weeks, this go round, without my medication, I started contacting other CVS locations. After exhausting all local CVS locations, I called the Columbus NC CVS. & while they did not have all of my prescription, they had some- Enough to last me until I could reach out to my doctor for further assistance.Columbus, NC Pharmacy Team:The Columbus, NC staff was helpful, empathetic and understanding from the moment that I spoke with them. This meant so much after being treated so terribly by my usual CVS Pharmacy. The Columbus Team member did not huff & puff in frustration, but instead, helped me find a solution AND helped me to understand how legal and store policy process works when a patient is unable, by no fault of their own, to fill all of a prescription. Because of the national shortage, my doctor has now instructed me to first contact my pharmacy on a monthly basis before she risks sending a prescription to a CVS pharmacy location that doesn't have it in stock. The CVS in Columbus NC (Mills Ave.) understands and is kind and helpful in talking to me.I would be completely hesitate to ever contact my former CVS pharmacy location monthly because I'm sure they would be "Bothered."However, this Columbus, NC CVS Pharmacy Team even validated the situation when I called yesterday to make sure my prescription was in stock by noting, "Exactly, it makes sense to check instead of you and doctor going back and forth."This may sound like a small thing, ”

“I guess there is always room for improvement but you would be hard pressed to find it here. From the first time you introduce yourself to these fine people you are treated like lifetime friends. I have not been in there that I was not greeted by name. Always happy to see you and make you feel special... every town needs a Landrum Drug... but in this day it's unheard of. Landrum we are lucky.”

“Great little drugstore with medicine, socks, makeup, beauty supplies, and limited groceries. Large private parking lot, friendly staff, and clean bathrooms. Go in and check your blood pressure at the free machine! On Rutherford Road, easy to get to.”
“GREAT friendly service. I needed a compounded cream for my wife and they worked very hard and quickly to get this to us. I am very pleased with the service at this local pharmacy and would highly recommend them.”
