I told him that I was selling my car, and that I had a buyer, but the buyer wanted a side dent fixed or asked if I could come down on the sale price of the car. Brain asked me to come by and that he would take a look at the dent. Brian is a great guy! He looked at my car for free, gave me a free estimate for the cost of repair, and gave me solid advice and wisdom on what I should do in my situation!! This says a lot about a person and a business. “Drove from Wilmington helping a friend recover his father's Truck from impound. Both battery's were dead. Everyone went above and beyond to help! Finally got the Truck running with about 30 minutes of effort. The person who helped us was empathetic to the situation, patient, eager to help, almost intimidating with her mechanical knowledge, even more skilled with her common sense approach. The mind-blowing experience for me, is that she is Athletic and looked more like a college cheerleader. IF I LIVED IN the area, I would probably have my vehicle towed regularly just watch her work! Good people, great service. With a cheerleader who knows how to get her own truck out of the mud!

“I drove from Nebraska to visit family in the area and the engine starting having misfiring issues right before I arrived.
This was an possible issue we were wary of back home and it was something I wanted to fix before I drove back west.
A family member recommended this shop to me after several bad experiences from other shops so I checked them out.
I can confirm, at least in my experience, they did not try to BS me or have me pay for unrelated issues. Everything they pointed out needed fixed were things my trusted mechanic at home has said, so I have a great level of confidence in their work.
I told them the repairs needed to be done within a short time window and they accommodated me to make sure I was able to get back on the road in time.

“One of the best customer service experiences! After failing a State Inspection for tire wear, I was in need of two tires to pass inspection. Also my wife and daughter were to head out of town in hours. Both of the gentlemen that provided service were professional. They even went out of their way to pick up the 2 tires from their Supplier to greatly reduce my wait time and so my wife could head out of town in less than two hours. “I've been a customer since they were in their original location and have never had a bad experience. I've gotten tires, had them work on existing tire issues, had vehicles repaired and gotten inspections and they've always been extremely professional and reasonably priced. Terry and his team have worked me in when I was in a bind and helped me locate U-Hauls at other location when they didn't have what I needed on their lot.
I can't understand all of the bad reviews, other than assuming that they might have more to do with those customers than with this company.
Give them a try and you'll be glad that you did.”

“Michaels auto is the best shop in the area. So much so that I continued to take my cars to him even after moving to Raleigh. He explains everything thoroughly and respectfully. Prices are fair and the work is good. I wont take my car anywhere else (the last time I did, I had to bring it back to Michael to fix what the other guys messed up!). Highly recommend”
