“I had two x5 35d's and decided to buy another one that had issues that nobody could figure out. I have pretty much an intermediate mechanical ability and have close to 10 diesels. Well this X5 had been gone through by two other shops (names withheld) and nobody could figure it out. Well I looked at it and went through it as well and couldn't get the issue resolved. Finally took it to BPC because of their online reviews and recommendations from other BMW forums. They did an initial diagnosis which I disagreed with but when that didn't fix the issue they rolled up their sleeves and put their best tech on it. For those of us who love Diesels there are darn few shops that want to work on them. Well this X5 needed some additional time and they finally figured it out. I told them it was going to be a challenge and it definitely was, HOWEVER THEY RESOLVED THE ISSUE. All I can say is everything you read about them is true.They know their stuff!!! “I have owned a car, and driven a vehicle of one kind or annother for the better part of three decades. I've done a lot of work on my own when the need has arisen in the past but the day always comes when you have no other choice but to take it to a mechanic.I've had to take my vehicle to a mechanic on several occasions throughout my life and have never had nor found a better place to go than "Murphy Sunoco". The work they did on my car in my humble opinion is without equal. I had to get the right hand CV axle replaced as the original was damaged beyond repair. To my great surprise they got the work done in a day and a half .... Absolutely outstanding workmanship and professionalism.I had to take my car in recently to get some work done that i wasnt able to do on my own, as with most of us i am on a budget and after the brilliantly knowledgable technicians at Murphy Sunoco did there all around and in depth diagnostics on my vehicle Mr. Fred Factor (the office manager there at Murphy Sunoco) called to let me know what needed to be done and how much it was going to cost. needless to say it was out of my price range, i most likely could have gotten the money scrounged up but it wouldnt have left any other monnies for groceries, rent and other bills.Mr. Factor and I talked on the phone three or four times after i let him know what my situation was and he was able to, (with the help of his master automotive technicians) come up with some very skilled workaraounds for the problems at hand witch in the end saved me half of the original quote (the price that i had to pay went from a little over a thousand dollars down to just a little over five hundred dollars.So to Fred Factor and all of the excelent technicians that work at Murphy Sunoco, you have my thanks and my heart felst gratitude. you have made a customer for life and i will, without any reservation whatever recomend your shop to all my friends who may need mechanical work of any kind done on there vehicle.
