barre3 has been changing my life one class at a time. everyone there is so kind and the studio has a positive energy which radiates as soon as you step through the doors. i have never considered myself an athletic person—on the contrary, i’ve always thought of myself as physically weak and building healthy exercise habits has always been a challenge for me. barre3 is challenging my own limiting self-beliefs and giving me space to show up for myself every day. as a bonus, barre3 also offers an educator membership and shows that they truly care about teachers. so grateful for this place!

I was intimidated to try barre at first, but it turns out that that fear was completely unfounded. barre3 Chapel Hill is great! The staff and teachers have a positive, inclusive, motivating energy. I'm made to feel welcome from the minute I walk in the door, and the classes push me in all the right ways. I am very happy here and plan to continue here for many years to come. Thanks to Jess and the team for such a wonderful experience!

This fitness space has a fun vibe. I've taken classes with Hope Folsom who is a total rockstar teacher. She keeps things very active, challenging and hip. I've never left a class that she hosted where I didn't feel challenged & motivated!

Took a drop in class, during a quick trip to NC. Had an amazing time. Good music, nice staff, fun class. I have MD and I was able to sit out what I couldn't do, and the instructor also showed modified versions. I'll def come back.

What I said the 2nd time I showed up for a barre3 class is telling about what happened in the 1st class "Is this where egos go to die"? Jessica said yes and proceeded to dog walk my glutes and quads for 60 minutes. This is the best workout for legs I've ever had. The "guys" are really missing out with just pumping their weights; do they even lift? See flow chart, the answer is no.

I've done barre at several different studios over the years and this is my favorite by far. It has a very welcoming and friendly environment, classes have good energy but with no judgmental vibes. It is also a nice clean studio that is well-equipped. I'm pregnant and Brooke has been extremely helpful with providing modifications and checking on me. I can't recommend this studio more!

I am a dancer and have been looking for barre classes to strengthen my core and muscle strength. This past week, I was offered a free class with Barre3 at Chapel Hill. I had a workout class with the instructor, Casey, and really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of the studio as well as the intensity of the workout itself. On entering Barre3, I was welcomed warmly by the staff, Jess. The studio has a very calming and relaxing aura. The facilities are very well-kept and truly motivate you for a healthy exercise. Casey was a great instructor and gradually increased the workout intensity and techniques. Barre3 workouts are known to focus on strength, cardio, and mindfulness and our workout incorporated these 3 elements well. We went through stretches, slowly increasing our heart rates to reach more intensive exercises and I really enjoyed the focused approach. This helped to focus on the exercise's technique, improving the quality over quantity for the entire workout. All in all, I think Barre3 is a great barre studio where you really have a chance to hone in on your barre techniques and focus on what your body needs in each moment of your workout. I only wished that the intensity apex for the exercises were a bit higher, but of course this is a studio for individuals of all levels. Truly recommend Barre3 if you are getting started or looking for ways to consistently get into barre exercises, as they have class packs and unlimited options ranging from $59-$239. Great option for barre classes in Chapel Hill!

I’ve been going to Barre for a month now and have had an excellent experience. Each class is different and gives me the exact work out that is best for me. I love the environment and atmosphere. I went to one class before buying an unlimited pass and I am so happy I made that decision. Seeing results after one month is really exciting!

They are super nice and the classes are a great workout. When my partner brought me I was worried it would be awkward to participate as a guy but they have been very welcoming.

Barre3 Chapel Hill is such an amazing place! I fell in love with classes right after my first visit (thanks to my coworker who recommended Barre3). Supportive and very motivating instructors, classes are always different and are always challenging which is so great! Overall you just feel like you're a part of a family, a part of something bigger.

Use to adore this studio until they tried ripping me off when I attempted to cancel. Despite my contract stating I only needed to give 30 days cancellation notice (which I did), rude agreessive manager, Brooke, insisted she needed to charge me for another 30 days even though this directly contradicted our contract. They have since updated their contract to clarify their cancellation policy by the way (wow, suprise). Brooke could not explain her policy that was not in the contract, spoke to me in a ridiculous and dismissive tone, and ceased communication with me. I emailed the owner who refused to speak to me either and once again, left it to rude Brooke to handle with me. Neither Brooke nor the owner apologized to me after multiple emails to them pointing out that they were not honoring the contract I signed. Disappointed by the owner's refusal to get involved or apolgize and leaving it to crazy Brooke to deal with. Always got weird agressive vibes from her. After multiple unanswered emails and accusing me of trying to rip off a small business, finally refunded me the money that was owed to me. Sad to be treated like this after being a member for over a year and joining in the middle of the pandemic when business was tough. Clearly money hungry and despite their manager previously working in law, cannot write or follow a sound contract. Instead of going with this business, try Barre3 Cary or Raleigh, Neighborhood Barre Durham, or Pure Barre. Shame on this studio, owner, and manager for how they treated me.
