“This may seem weird but I am going to rec one Cary Harris Teeter over another . I drive by the NW Maynard HT to patronize the Walnut Street HT.In my opinion it is by far the better store .The Walnut Street HT has a consistently helpful group of Pharmacists .I cannot say that for all the NW Maynard pharmacists --the helpfulness and productivity varies between that staff.Walnut Street HT carries Durham's "Ninth Street Bakery "all natural breads .(NWMaynard HT refused to bring this healthy and delicious bread on board when it changed from Kroger to a HT ). Other Harris Teeter's carry 9th St bread bread ,e.g.in Raleigh --it's on inventory in other HT stores .But the Maynard Location denied that request .(BTW--while Cary's La Farm Bakery bread is tasty ,Ninth Street bread leaves you feeling nourished .) The Asian Food bar staff at the Walnut Street location will go out of their way to personalize their Sushi --extra ginger ,brown rice instead of white rice etc ) . Other store staff are also esp.friendly .As far as ambience the Walnut St. HT interior in drenched in light --NW Maynard HT is dark and depressing .IF you HAVE to be grocery shopping would you not rather be in a cheerful looking ,helpful ,easy to get in and get out store ???”

“6/17/22 9:35 pm Great customer service here. Acknowledged throughout the store during my recent visit. Found everything I needed without an issue. The store was clean and organized. The self-checkout attendants were helpful when the system malfunctioned. This Harris Teeter met my customer service expectations. This experience is rare these days.”

“I love shopping at this HT location. It's situated in a convenient intersection which I frequent weekly. It's clean and inviting- your typical expectations of what a grocery food store ought to be- I go in the evenings and it's consistently busy as the choice food store in the area. Lots of vibrant and younger customers like myself shop around that time! Pleased mostly with the aesthetics and location- obviously they have food which is good too. It does feel open and safe for evening grocery shopping which is important to me. Any time Iv needed assistance from customer service desk- it may be an effort to get their attention but they have been helpful and cordial and taken care of my needs!”

“Mostly a good store. Much better service than almost all other stores. At least they care. Plus they hire special needs folks, which is nice to see. Good selection of almost everything (except they no longer stock Gino's pizza...), lots of international foods. The produce is in a really weird spot, so I have to backtrack to get there. Areas for improvement: daytime stocking of multiple aisles simultaneously makes it a challenge to shop there. Some checkout clerks move at a snail's pace, I usually have to bag my own groceries. They have eVic specials that don't apply to Vic specials (confusing and inconsistent). There are no checkout stations open near the second store exit nor spread out across multiple aisles for shoppers' convenience. How about at least one express self-checkout near the other exit? The produce section sometimes has food that's starting to rot. Sometimes it's super fresh; other times wilted and gray. The vents to cool the shelves are often a bit grimy/fuzzy. Not sure anyone has ever cleaned them. Self checkout is quite fast at least. Employees seem happy to work there. Great service more often than not, but sometimes the human checkout is painfully slow. They used to have baggers to speed it up. They have some good specials to bring you into the store, but my overall bill is typically higher than other stores.”

“The store is bright and clean and the associates are really friendly. I got a smile and "good morning" from everyone I passed. I was asked if I needed help finding anything (I did ), which I always appreciate. I will be doing my shopping here from now on!”

“I moved to this area fairly recently, and shopped in Harris Teeter approx. four times. I found the checkout staff very friendly, and helpful, so I have no complaints. I just need to shop there more often so I learn the layout of the store.”

“This location is so close and convenient to my home. Most of the employees are very friendly (shout out to Tyler, Mohammed and Jose) and they have all the staples I need. Great produce and cheese prices, as well as for the cleaning supplies. I was sad when they started closing, instead of being open 24 hours. Biggest irritation is that they stock during regular hours...every day, and it is hard to get up and down the aisles!”

“I'm shocked by the poor ratings here! The staff has always been nothing but nice and helpful. I use the drive-through due to cancer, and sometimes there is a wait; but I appreciate the service and helpfulness. I get my dog's epilepsy pills here too. No issues!”

“I like that I can easily get vaccinations here (not just Covid--they have flu, pneumonia, etc., too). I had made an online appointment for a flu shot and a shingles vaccine for earlier this week, and I had to cancel at the last minute. I called and explained, and there was no problem; they told me I could just walk in any time to get my shot. I did that yesterday, although I had to wait about 30 minutes. Both the pharmacy associate and pharmacist were friendly and helpful, and the pharmacist even gave me some advice for a very minor problem I was having. Everyone wears masks, and distancing is enforced, too.”

“Every year, Coastal gives members bonus - usually around Valentine's Day. The interest on your checking account is great. You can also open a money market account that has a good interest rate. All of this is free. Their home mortgage and auto loan rates are low. Everyone has been helpful to me.”

“Great store, anyone that says this is a bad store is incredibly ignorant or just a bad customer that probably doesn't deserve the PRIVILEGE of good customer service. The people that work here are not servants and do not get paid enough money to be harassed by ungrateful and entitled customers.”

“Just what you would expect. There's an assortment of seasonal items as well as your standard toiletries hair care and miscellaneous. The store was clean well organized and the cashier was polite. Many different sales were going on particularly seasonal items for the holidays. Much gift wrap, lots of stocking stuffers, candy, and toys were available. Christmas lighting was 50% off. I actually came in for toothpaste and found a good sale on kid stuff. I caught myself buying stuff just to have gifts to give. While this goes against my grain (don't let consumerism rule your better judgement) at least Walgreens offers affordable options I hope will be used. Example--3 holiday Yankee Candles for $14.99. Merry Christmas! I've finally started my shopping!”

“I took my Dad grocery shopping here at Harris Teeter and was very impressed with the store. The store is clean and kept up very well! The selection of products was excellent and the produce looked amazing. There was only one case register opened it appears and even self-checkout was closed, so that is the only negative aspect of this grocery store. Other than that, the prices are reasonable and Amazing. If I lived in Cary, I would make this my regular grocery store, because it is convenient and you save money as well. Two things that go together very well like cake and ice cream!”
