“I used to drive right by Ace and head to the other big box home improvement stores. However, this has become my default/preference. Why? This store is well staffed every hour of the day. Employees are always eager to help, including the GM. Being a passionate DIY'er / weekend warrior, I've been pleasantly surprised at the knowledge and helpfulness of the employees across a wide range of home improvement topics, and their suggestions have been spot-on! Product selection has been surprising, too: this Ace also seems to carry most everything that I generally used to get from the other home improvement stores (just don't expect big box brands, like Ryobi or Kobalt, or a showroom floor of kitchen/laundry appliances).”

“Stopped into the Home Depot at Crossroads Shopping Center in Cary, NC, today to return an unneeded item. My husband and I were embraced with such amazing customer service that we couldn't believe it. First at the return desk we were offered each a cold bottle of water. The return was routine....no problem. We ended up buying a porch setting of table and chairs and the return person did everything he could to make it a very enjoyable purchase transaction also. They only have self check out so we appreciated his service! We were excited about the purchase. After that concluded we continued our shopping in the store. At customer self check out AGAIN we experienced above and beyond care and attention. In each transaction they asked us if we were veterans and gave us 10% discount. They brought it up first!! They were each professional and happy and cared about us. We definitely will go first to The Home Depot now for any home improvement items we need. We will be loyal. They both told us they like their management and enjoyed their work very much. I thank that management team as well as Bradey (not sure of spelling), outstanding!!!; Jim who went out of his way to get us our outdoor furniture in a box; and at check out, Maya and her supervisor, Teresa. They made our day!”
