“A Stellar Experience at Studio West – Thanks to Preston and Mike!I recently had the pleasure of living at Studio West, and I can't express enough how wonderful my experience was. From the moment I moved in, it was clear that this was more than just an apartment – it was a community, and the exceptional team, led by manager Preston and repairman Mike, played a significant role in making it feel like home.Firstly, Preston, the manager, is an absolute gem. His professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness stood out from the start. Any concerns or questions I had were addressed promptly, and he consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every resident felt valued and cared for. Preston's dedication to creating a positive living environment truly sets Studio West apart. Now, let me tell you about Mike, the repairman. Maintenance issues are inevitable in any living space, but having someone like Mike on the team made the process seamless. Mike is not just a repairman; he's a problem-solver. His expertise, coupled with a friendly demeanor and how quickly he fixes your problem, made any maintenance concerns I had feel like minor inconveniences. Studio West is fortunate to have someone as skilled and personable as Mike on their staff. The amenities at Studio West are fantastic, and the property is well-maintained. The community events organized by Preston, foster a sense of belonging among residents. It's not just a place to live; it's a place to connect and build lasting friendships. In conclusion, my time at Studio West exceeded all expectations, largely due to the outstanding team led by Preston and supported by the exceptional skills of Mike. If you're looking for an apartment where the management genuinely cares about its residents and where maintenance is handled with efficiency and a smile, Studio West is the place for you. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of a comfortable, welcoming, and well-managed living space. Shout out to Studio West for creating a truly exceptional living experience!”

“I have lived in Mountaineer village for three years and have loved it. The biggest thing for me is the management and the maintenance. Every time I have put in a maintenance request they come either that day or the very next day. They are not invasive and sometimes they will even replace things that I didn’t even ask them to. The Manager is SO nice. He gets to know all of the residents. On exam week there is free pizza and breakfast. Not to mention there is always a stocked fridge of soda and free coffee. The apartment is spacious and we each have our own bathroom. The price is a lot.. but almost all of my other friends who live elsewhere are paying even more than me but they don’t have a pool, gym, ping pong, volleyball court and fire pit like mountaineer village has. There is also two bus stops in walking distance so I have never had an issue with being ten minutes off campus.”

“Our son's rent an apartment for the last two years at Brown Heights in Boone which is managed by Holton Mountain Rentals. During that time Holton has always been extremely responsive with any issues they've had. Nancy and the whole staff have gone above and beyond to help us and we couldn't be happier!”

“I have had a great experience with Brown Heights Properties in Boone, NC this past year. The property manager, Sandy, great with dealing with her tenants. Overall, it is an inexpensive and solid place to live as an App State student or anyone else who is looking for an apartment in the Boone Area.”

“This is the only place I would live in Boone outside of owning a home. GREAT management and staff, as reasonably priced for what Boone housing is, clean and very well laid out. Only thing that I could complain about is a major lack of planning when it come to parking. My advice, pay the extra for a garage, it’s 100% worth it.”

“I lived in a one bedroom unit at the Bloomfield Apartments for 2.5 years and loved it. It was spacious, clean, and cozy for the price. The complex is mostly "young professionals," so it's quiet. It's also pet-friendly. The only cons were 1) The steep driveway along a blind curve on 321, and 2) The annual unit inspections, which I felt were a bit intrusive (However, I understand why they were done). In my opinion, Sofield is the best rental company in Boone. Despite the Google ratings, they have a good reputation. My first landlord (Deena) was exceptional and my most recent landlord (Autumn) was great too. Maintenance was quick to fix issues. They seem like an honest company - I received my entire security deposit within 30 days of moving out.I will say that the "sublease" process entails ending your lease and transferring it to someone else, which is a $250 fee. There are also some fees for the new leaser ($200 administrative and $50 application fees). Unfortunately, I believe this is the norm in Boone. I still had no problem finding someone to fill my spot since these apartments are in high demand.”

“I lived at Turtle Creek West for almost 2 years and overall enjoyed my experience. We had multiple small issues in the apartment that we had to call maintenance for but they always came in quickly and took care of us. The price I feel is the best bang for your buck in Boone. The Kuester Offices always respond and are very friendly. The only big issue I had was internet speed but as of January 2018 they have took care of that issue. Great apartment complex, friendly staff and fast internet. Do hope in the future they take care of picking up dog poop and keep the outside apartment a little cleaner.”
