“Did a great job fixing up a hand me down bike with cost effective solutions. We aren’t bikers so they did a great job getting my son what he needed without costing a ton.”

“Highly recommend MustAsheville Bikes! Needed some mechanical support and they were very knowledgeable and kind. Had the exact part on hand that the other shops around did not. I'll be back!”

“Customer service was fantastic. Brian was the one who helped us. He was great to offer advice and always responded quickly to emails. Being professional, polite and engaging is how you earn and keep customers. I would highly recommend Liberty Bicycles!!”

“Had my fairly new fork go through a lower maintenance job. Road well over 100 hours on these new forks in just under a year. They also swapped out rear frame suspension bearings which feels a whole lot better. Forks feel better and the rear suspension No longer noisy and very spongy. Highly recommend them for this particular service”

“Youngblood always steps up to the plate for whatever issue I have. The folks that work there are so friendly and knowledgeable and never shy away from my vintage bikes”

“So glad this place exists! Malcolm and Steven were super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm very happy with my new (used/rebuilt) bike and happy I was able to donate my old bike to the shop to further their cause of helping get kids out mountain biking who otherwise wouldn't be able to. Lots of bike parts available for cheap, like seats, clothing, accessories, etc. I will always check here first for any bike needs!”

“John has built two bikes for me. The first was a custom Parlee Z1 back in 2012 when John had a shop in Sylvania, Ohio and I had just moved to Michigan from San Francisco. The second was a custom Bingham Built all-road travel bike with couplers, which John put together for me in 2019 in Asheville and I flew out to pick up. (The story between the lines there is that it's worth flying half way across the country to have John build your bike). Both bikes are awesome. John is a one-of-a-kind builder. He knows all his suppliers on a first name basis--it's not Parlee, Bingham Built, René Herse, it's Bob, Brad, Jan. He cares about every detail of the bike almost obsessively and creates something perfectly suited to each rider. With 40,000 miles and 8,000 miles on my bikes respectively, both are still going strong. I'm biding my time until I can justify having him build another one for me. As he says on his site, why pay a ton for off the rack, when you can pay about the same and have a unique bike crafted just for you?”

“Incredibly kind staff, welcoming vibe and basically heaven when it comes to just about ever great cycling brand and related accessories. From enve to poc silca muc off they seem to have everything and a great staff to back it up. Didn’t try the coffee but there is a little cafe also. Will definitely be purchasing gear and accessories from here in the future.”

“Best bike shop in Asheville. Took time to look at my bicycle and make some adjustments. Even went as far as to show me some ways to maintain the brakes etc. One shop I spoke with wanted to replace my brakes ?. I won't say who but they are on the same road.”
