“I found this place randomly one day. The food is a pleasant surprise. They serve healthier tasting dishes with less grease than traditional filipino places. The convenience of their grocery section is a plus. It’s a small mom and pop spot with all the pantry staples and snacks. The price is a bit higher than what you can find at big Asian grocers, but considering the ease of having everything you need in one place it is fair. The options are limited here in LI and I can easily pass on the trip to Roosevelt Ave for this spot instead.”

“Nice place, but waaaaaaaay over priced. $6 for carrots ? they're definitely taking advantage of the affluent neighborhood. Bought a small apple pie ($23) and it tasted good but it's like a jiffy pop popcorn, obnoxiously high crust so you can't cut a slice cleanly, definitely can NOT serve this to guests, impossible to plate (see pics) also a small 6" zucchini bread ($8.95) it was good.”

“I went there 07/25/18. Honestly, I love everything I got here. Everything I got here tasted African made, you know what mean? Cow skin, can't stop leaking my fingers. The atmospheric condition here is simply the best. Was my first time meeting the owner of the place, she is a very friendly person. “Every 2 weeks, sometimes 1x a week I go to my favorite place. I just love the fresh flowers and the unique new things they put out for each season. Their selection of frozen vegetables are great. Also the staff are helpful and friendly. Checkout and cashiers are always quick and pleasant. Trader Joe's must be a great place to work too!”

“Easy access from LIE and Northern Parkway, spacious parking lot shared with a number of other businesses, big market inside with plenty of selection, there's even a small food court on the right immediately after entering the H Mart, the ready made Korean food makes for good options to take home for an easy meal option, the meat section towards the back has plenty of marinaded Korean BBQ meats anyone can use to have a nice at home dining experience, overall this H Mart is one of the better ones I've shopped at”

“Great food, authentic family owned Mexican store. It’s a little piece of Mexican in Long Island where you don’t have to go all the way to queens. Always friendly and accommodating. Nothing negative to say.One thing to note is that cash is preferred, they do charge a fee for using card, but that seems to be a trend in most places nowadays. Other than that it’s great, don’t expect to find too many, if any American items at all like a previous reviewer was looking for.”

“I needed miso and Japanese noodles. I was amazed at the section of miso! So many varieties! And kimchi! The fresh fish and frozen fish sections are great, same for the vegetables and frozen sections of dumplings and more. I was very happy to find the store near Herricks Rd, on the Westbound side of Hillside, I had problems with the address first, being on eastbound side of Hillside. A fabulous Asian store!!”
