“My fiancé and I were shopping for rings and very unsure of which shop to go to and decided to wander into Kay's in Colonie Center Mall where we met Monica. Very outgoing and charismatic woman who could see I needed help deciding what ring to go with. We told her our budget and she showed me a multitude of rings. She even tried to help me with my own financing but I goofed on my end and will have to try again. Fast forward to today we went into their sister store to look at a ring there I liked but I would have to wait until Saturday for it to be in my price range. Disheartened and having my head strong mother in law in tow we went back to Monica and finally found a ring!! A little outside our range She called in and convinced them to lengthen the lease so I could get my ring today. “Several years ago, we inherited an art collection. The collection included over five hundred pieces of artwork from both Eastern European and American artists. (Including but not limited to oils, drawings, lithographs, engravings, and original inks.) Since the collection was not catalogued, we had no idea how to organize it, who some of the artists were and the overall value. We met with Mark Lawson, and he agreed to take on the task of researching the artist for each piece, organizing the collection, and eventually auctioning it for us. He was able to identify each piece and arrange an auction in less than 6 months.We were impressed by the professionalism and attention to detail that he and his staff exhibited. We were also pleased with the first auction in which a majority of the artwork was sold. Subsequently he arranged a second auction in which additional pieces were sold. Finally, with our approval donated the remainder of the artwork to a local charity.We would gladly recommend Mark Lawsons Antiques to anyone seeking appraisals or someone to sell items.”
“I bought this necklace from them I have sensitive skin and told them I will sue if my skin develop any infection. To test it out I wear it everyday I bath with it every night and never take it off. Had it for 5 months now and just bought earring 2 months no color change. I’m coming soon for gold grill but so fair I been treated good. It was not silver, but these guys figured out a way to enlarge it enough for me, right there on the spot and I was able to slip it over my ring finger.When I asked what I owed, they told me not to worry about it and sent me on my way.A great experience!
