“Overall, moving from Syracuse, NY to Boston, MA with Delaney Moving & Storage (through United Van Lines) was a positive experience. We were under a pretty tight time crunch due to a job offer with an early start date, and Delaney was quick and courteous to help us with our move. Art did a virtual appraisal/inventory with us, and was kind and warm on the call. He returned quotes with various dates and services at our request, allowing us to chose the package that would work best for us. Cheryl was warm and extremely responsive throughout the process. Our new apartment complex had some very strict rules regarding delivery, which made orchestrating the delivery of our items a bit difficult, but David in Dispatch was extremely helpful.
On the morning of packing up, the movers arrived ahead of schedule, and quickly and efficiently packed up our belongings. They were friendly, and also great with our rescue dog who can be a bit wary of strangers.
Delaney was able to move and deliver our things to Boston the very next morning! We were not there to personally oversee the delivery (my spouse's parents were there to receive our things while we drove to Boston) but according to them, the process was smooth and professional. Some of our items sustained minor cosmetic damage (eg. some cheap plywood furniture is now missing a corner, and some of the items got a bit scuffed) but nothing too terrible.
Delaney/United Van Lines would definitely get our business again in the future: they made a very stressful situation a lot smoother and pleasant than it would have been otherwise, and provided a good professional service.”

“BC storage is one of the best storage unit companies I’ve ever had the opportunity and privileged to use. When it comes to moving and storing needs. after moving five or six times throughout the years. I’ve had headache and heartache with different companies, but there’s seamless integration on online booking and that the fact that I did everything through my mobile phone . There mobile platform Literally two or three clicks, and I had a storage unit waiting for me with the Lock . And was moving same day at 9 pm on a Sunday . I opened the Inside with a welcome package , which is very impressive. I’ll be using your company from now on for any of my storage needs. Congrats for getting this right”

“Tammy (Owner), and Dominique as agents for this location made my move a seamless, easy experience. I am so impressed with how well operated the Erie Boulevard, Syracuse location is. It’s like watching a well oiled service operation before one’s eyes, a well managed and beautifully run business. It’s obvious a lot of effort goes into serving customers so seamlessly and with such care to efficiency in customer service and quality of the services and products offered. I was checked in in no time and Tammy on my second visit and rental and Dominique on my first visit and rental—both within a week’s time—were welcoming and professional, and made me feel like I was special, like family or a special customer. The people in front of me were treated the same way. And they operate under such an extraordinarily effective business model, everything works like clockwork. Rented trailer again. Easy going customer service. I’d guess the poor reviews listed here were probably related to the individual posting.
It’s also true the trailer I got was not the one ordered. They gave me a rental pretty similar. 4x8 vs 5x9. I’ll happily take the extra space and the weight/size penalty was insignificant. This is U-Haul and things are in constant flux.
It appears there are new owners/managers from several years ago.”
