With the highly aggressive competition from private firms with huge corporate funds, we appreciate that a taxpayer funded government institution is subject to budget cuts, and often local Post Offices are not given the manpower they require to keep up with the demand on their staff. “This post office is great . James was super helpful and took his time to help me with my questions and prices . Going to the post office can sometimes be an anxiety inducing process. But this location is very cozy and usually isn’t packed with a line . I’d recommend going to this location if you are in the area for your postal needs. Once again James who was working the front was totally chill.”
“I don’t understand why some people made bad comments. I’m glad USPS is still around to compete the private companies like UPS and FedEx. Some people are stupid to even say such complaints. I use USPS service often. They are always helpful and considerate. Listen customers , sometimes you are the problem. Some people have high expectations, they want high class mail service and a happy ending too for the price of a pack of peanuts.”
“I always find the service at this location excellent. The people working here are friendly, informative, and work quickly to keep the line moving. Even when I arrive to a long line, I never have to wait very long, and the representatives working the counter are always professional and courteous, even when very busy.”
“I've never had an issue here. Mostly just drop off packages. I appreciate that the dropbox is always working, there are a lot of usps places that have it fill up and get locked, then you have to go on line. I did go on line once or twice for mailing things and the employees were always helpful and courteous.”

“Who goes to post office anymore but sometimes you have to I’ve been here to drop aparcels for Amazon and mainly we’ve been here for the kids passports. The staff here was very friendly with us when they did the passport application. pictures always take time so you have to go through the pain of taking the pictures again and again and again, but They were very patient with us. My children are blind some of them and it is hard to position them for the passport pictures but these people were very cooperative and I’m very thankful to them.”
“I am beyond grateful for the outstanding service I received today. I was trying to send a package and I was struggling with getting the package ready and trying to care for my two little ones. It was becoming impossible. Just when I was about to give up and try a different day the women who were working saw me struggling and helped me right away. There were two women who came around the counter and brought out toys for my little ones , I believe their names were Careen and Jeanette. Jeanette helped entertain my little ones while another women named Hani got my package already to ship. There are no words to describe how incredibly thankful I am for the love that was shown today. They worked together as a team to lend a helping out to me. I will forever be grateful.”

“Went to the Lindenhurst PO to get help renewing my passport. THANK YOU ROSE!! for all your patience and help! She walked me through the whole procedure, did my pictures, packed it all up and sent it off...and we had a few laughs along the way. Rose was spectacular!!!”

My Fiancé and I came into mail our wedding invitations which is typically a stressful and tedious task.Rose made it an exciting moment in our wedding countdown. She took a photo of us with our envelopes, helped us choose stamps that went with our envelopes and overall gave us great customer service. “I don't think the problem is with the Post Office workers. I think the problem is with the customers who flock to this location overwhelming the staff. Especially those who go there for things other than mailing a package/letters or getting money orders. There are plenty of other avenues to buy stamps, get passports than waste the time of these fine people. We need this location for important tasks instead. Those who want passports can go to public libraries, other government offices as well. Do some critical thinking for once and improvise.”

The scale didn’t work the other day so I left my boxes there for him to scan after things got fixed and he was nice enough to send a receipt to me in the mail. Thank you Mike! I go all the way here instead of Queens, here in Queens they are rude. It’s worth the trip!”
