“There are always long lines here, but that's not the fault of the post office. People need to use the services and that why we line up. I needed to renew my passport and inquired how to go about it. One of the post office workers assisted me by asking me the appropriate questions needed for my renewal, gave me the form necessary, write down the fees I need, and even gave me the envelope to send it when I'm ready to mail it. It took me awhile to take care of it, but I came back today to mail it. Vanessa assisted me today, checked that all the papers were filled correctly. Stapled what needed to be stapled and placed a paper clip where needed. I asked about the fees, and she double checked what I needed. I called her my guardian angel for the day. This is such a nice Post Office to have with caring and courteous workers.”
“Could not access hold mail on the computer. I was heading back from Fl and called the Post office and the lady who answered the phone was very helpful in handling my request. She went out of her way to help me.”

“I've never had an issue here. Mostly just drop off packages. I appreciate that the dropbox is always working, there are a lot of usps places that have it fill up and get locked, then you have to go on line. I did go on line once or twice for mailing things and the employees were always helpful and courteous.”

I didn’t catch the name of the guy who answered the phone, but he was incredibly helpful despite being quite busy. I appreciate that he took the time to help me out with concerns regarding the package while he was busy.”
“Came here to renew my passport as this was the only place that had appointments available. Made an appointment for 2pm and I arrived at 1:57 and was taken care of right away.I walked out the door at 2:15 and everything went smoothly! Staff was super friendly and helpful, no complaints at all. 5/5 stars!Parking wasn't so bad as I went during a weekday afternoon, but I can see how it can get bad on a prime time weekend day.Hope I get my passport soon!”

“Really convenient location for me. Hours could be better during the workday but I make do. The worker is always very kind and easy to work with/get you what you need. If you have packages delivered to there they kind of just sit on the side which doesn't seem safe. I wouldn't know as I've never got anything sent to this location. It's located on the bottom of the office building”
“Having visited many other local post offices for service, the people in Levittown, take for granted how efficiently and professionally the staff here works. It is such a pleasure to not have to wait on long lines and interact with a courteous staff. The employees in the Plainview post office should all take lesson from the staff here as to how to treat customers properly!!”
“After a Christmas gift was delayed almost 2 months because of international shipping, Lucinda called me personally and then helped me forward the gift onto the recipient. “On 12/13/23 I scheduled a Passport renewal application with the Hicksville Post Office since they are a full service Postal Office. They do Passport Photos and full application review and processing. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Rose who took the time and patience to review my application and fix any missing areas, confirm my supporting documents and even provide me with information on how to obtain a clean and new Birth Certificate via the Vital Records website. Ms. Rose was a pleasure to work with and made this process very pleasant. She was quick, intelligent and helpful. She is a shining example of Great Customer Service and an asset to the US Postal Company. Bravo ~~ Ms. Rose. And thanks for making this experience such a positive one for me.”
