The park has varied equipment for children to play on. It also has sprinklers. A nice place to entertain children for at least an hour.

The Painter's Playground is a beloved and spacious community space located next to P.S. 174 William Sidney Mount. There is a large play area located near the bathroom, with play equipment for older and younger kids. Four handball courts are found here, as is a large asphalt yard with room for several rims.
