Great place for a young family with children. Protected padded swings, monkey bars and mini water sprayers. Raket ball courts which are usually occupied with players of all levels. Can read, listen to your music or simply relax.
MacDonald Park is a landscaped and sculpted sea of green in the midst of a busy Queens Boulevard intersection. Three circular plazas connect the park, and rows of seating and game tables allow park goers to sit and relax nearby. The park is named in honor of World War I veteran Gerald MacDonald, and a statue of Captain MacDonald may be found in the center of the park.
