Cons: Elevators algorithms need improvement. Marlita of the package room is just not doing her job.”

27240 Grand Central Pkwy, Queens“Had a great time playing at the Towers. The course was well maintained with nice rolling fairways, bunkers protecting greens, and fast greens. I highly recommend playing it, if you get the opportunity. The staff in the clubhouse and restaurant were very friendly and we a loved the food. A+”
“I lived here for 2 years. Positives - nice location near the 7 train, responsive doormen, gym amenities, rooftop, value-for-money, apt layout, large windows, appliances. Cons - security is lax (delivery men can access your floor - my shoes were stolen as I left them in the hall once), community events are lousy, amenity wi-fi is non-existent, massive construction project next door, the 421a passthru rent was sneaky and unexpected (it should be on the front of your lease). This is a B- building with B rental rates. The 1-star reviews are unfair. Management was upfront with me that $300 would be deducted for cleaning and i received my security deposit back promptly. I'd live in GPL again - it's not perfect but I enjoyed my stay and found it better than most places in NYC.”
“Toured this building in Spring, 2021. The apartment I saw seemed nice with a nest thermostat and a walk in closet, but also felt slightly small for the price. The gym is at the top of the building with great views, but they may charge an amenity fee for it at some point if they don't already. I strongly considered living here, but the building allows smoking within units (maybe you can't smell it but I wouldn't want to be trapped in a lease breathing my neighbor's smoke) and there is construction across the street (not sure if you can hear it or not, though), so it wasn't quite worth it in my case. The leasing staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“I have read reviews and i don't understand most of negative reviews. My experience was great. Lease application was approved very promptly in less than 24 hours. Jonathan is the most pleasant person to deal with and front desk Frank is just the bomb. I love the building and all my interactions so far were super positive. Apartment is also nice and large. Highly recommend.”
“So expensive but honestly a solid building. Love the folks at the front desk, maintenance is prompt and unfussy. Issues are diagnosed and fixed promptly. I had issues with our AC, turns out it wasn't flush with the wall so outside air was getting in!
I moved out and decided to clean myself. Yes I spent like 4 hours cleaning but I got my entire deposit back no questions asked so I feel they are fair and not nitpicky.
There was a period of time where they were jackhammering all around the building for accessibility which I wasn't happy with. And they turned my toilet into a motion instead of a physical flush for accessibility which was annoying (I promptly reattached the flush handle). But no more changes are planned for the future probably.”
