Great service! Van ordered wasn't ready because it was covered in snow but the manager took the time to dig the car out himself and have it ready by the end of the day

Worst place to rent a car. Customer service is horrible they don’t know how to speak to people and they don’t appreciate your business. They don’t like to explain anything they just want your credit card and goodbye. It seems like speaking to the customers upset them. They act like you need their car more than they need your money, very snobby and ignorant. Also, don’t rent a car the day before a holiday they’re closed so ur forced of being charged an extra day fee even though it’s only needed for one day. All I can say I would NEVER rent from this location again worst experience ever, if I could rate these ppl it would be a 0. Take your business somewhere else, always something with them.

Rented a car for 6 PM Eastern pick up time. No one told me that they’re closed at 6 PM Eastern time arrived and it was closed even before 6 PM in complete darkness destroyed my entire trip. Got there at 8 o’clock the next morning with the worst customer service I ended up walking out. Do not use IBM Road budget Rent-A-Car.

Couldn't chose zero so had to give 1 star.Spoke to rep on p hone to set up rental foe my son to get to his sister's wedding.Explained he has debit/credit card to use and they told us it was good. He went to pick up car and they didn't have the price entered for an under 25 driver, said it was entered incorrectly even though they did it and then would not accept his card as payment! Tried to compromise and give mine, but they would not work with us at all. His sister's wedding is Sat and we are now frantically trying to get him to it from college. It's horrible.

The train tracks were washed out, had to make a flight out of JFK. Had one person in front of me, didn’t take long.Customer service was awesome. The employee had an positive attitude despite a busy bay, due to the trains not running. He upgraded me from an economy car to a Jeep Gladiator for free. Which was great for going down into the city.The drop off was fast and the attendant has a smile. I’ve rented a lot of cars and this was one of the best times.

I had reserved a car rental with Budget and paid in advance, but when I arrived to pick up the car with my Romanian driving license, I was told that the company could not accept it. While this was frustrating, I understand that car rental companies have specific policies and requirements for accepting foreign licenses. I opened a case with Budget Customer Service to try to resolve the issue, but it has not been resolved yet. I hope that Budget can find a solution, but I understand that these cases can take time. I cannot comment on whether or not this was a case of discrimination, but for sure it was very uncomfortable: I stayed there in front of the guy and I couldn't believe they are refusing to give my car because I am Romanian.

Never ever agin will I EVER go to ANY Budget, business contract has been terminated and none of my family or friends will ever go to any Budget Rental, but ESPECIALLY the one in Wappingers Falls. I had called and asked all the questions I needed to and asked if I needed anything else and they told me no, I go there and im unable to rent from there....AGAIN! Well...Hertz for the ?. Just wish I could give ZERO stars, fix it Google!!

Just an update. The 2 good reviews are obviously family members. Be cautious consumers ..Mr. Umar Akhtar What a mess you have sir . Went to go pick up a premium 7 passenger suv ended up with a Subaru ascent with 52k miles, leather all torn up kids were so uncomfortable. Passenger door severely damaged, I’m very familiar with cars so I can be for sure by saying the rotors were completely warped, tires were way below safety tire tred. The wiper fluid on the driver side was not functional. Just an absolute disaster. Umar as the owner you know very well the proper thing to do to correct this and I would be happy to remove or update my review but this was such a disappointment. Budget customer service was even worse. Pointing fingers toward each other. I literally stopped every 100 miles to put air in the passenger tires due to the TPMS light continuously coming on. Try driving this car with 4 kids in the middle of the night. Not good. Spent more in Uber at my destination then the cost of the rental. Sad deal. I hope you call to resolve. Next stop will be the BBB this is unsafe practice

Fantastic location and friendly staff. I did an online reservation and it made pick up and drop off super quick and easy. I got a really nice car that was fully equipped and comfortable. I was glad the car was equipped with proper winter tires (a life saver since there was a heavy snow storm in the area during my rental period). I also liked that this location is within Uber range of the Poughkeepsie train station (my Uber ride to the train station was about $14).

Driving down route 9 I had one of the drivers behind me who was consistently beeping while I was going the speed limit he passed me then decided to flip me off mind you I’m a minor yelling at me very unprofessional rude and uncalled for
