“I did not expect to love this place as much as I do— I’m more of a yoga person, but I also love barre and cardio dance, and FORM50 has some of those vibes. Make no mistake— this is a HARD workout, but if I know I have a busy week and can only exercise once, it’s going to be this. I’m grateful to the instructors for bringing maximum energy and paying close attention to every body in the room. Very talented staff. Adiba and Su give me life. Thanks so much!”

“Love this place. My membership is strictly for access to the gym not for the classes. The space itself is well kept and very open. It is perfect for a workout. I enjoy the easy access into the gym, simply open the door with my cellphone and get to work. I go in the early mornings and usually have the space all to myself and my tunes.Also Eoghan is awesome, he designed specific strength programs to improve my strength for my jujitsu training. I have nothing but positive things to say about Uptown Movement it is a really great place with wonderful people.”

“I did a 6-month program with Plasse and grew my strength more than I ever have in any class or at the gym. Dennis is thoughtful, kind, and paces everything well. Especially when you are new to heavy lifting like I was, it can seem intimidating at first, but Dennis breaks down every movement. And if you have been lifting for years, he will be equally great because he is a powerlifter and knows how to maximize potential. The environment is private and intimate - just a couple trainers and clients at a time. Highly recommend!”

“I joined 9 round in the beginning of July. The individualized instruction has motivated me to continue going back to 9 Round. The classes are a comfortable size, the gym is equipped with state of the art equipment. I felt & saw results within 3 weeks. At 57 years old this is the type of training that builds muscle tone & elevates my heart rate. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. No slacking here. “Going to be 63 years old in two weeks. I was just tired of being so big! I played college sports and have a black belt in karate. Been with Jim since the beginning of the year! We laugh and have great time! I like to think of myself as one of his success stories! I lost 35 pounds in 8 weeks and will be around as long as I can! The man is supportive but doesn’t pull any punches! Get off the couch!put in the work and it WILL PAY OFF! You can’t go home and eat a box of donuts ! “I love the intense work out that's adjustable for people at all fitness levels. The class pushes you to do your personal best and to keep improving your own strengths and goals. The coaches and staff are are all extremely knowledgeable and caring. Before orange theory I had no idea how to do a proper work out or how to target certain muscle groups, nor would I push myself to points that I thought possible. Since starting orange theory I not only see the results but I also feel amazing. I love OTF!”

“Great place to get fit. Instructors are friendly, informative and stern. If you want to get fit this is the place to be. I loved the music, the environment and the place. Equipment is up to date and the faculty is clean. The bathroom could use a little refresher every hour or so but, all in all I would def come back. They always have sales on their website so buy your sessions and get there ASAP. I am long overdue for another class. They have sessions that fit all levels of endurance and schedules. They've been around for a while but again this is a great addition to the Bronx”

“As a life-long athlete, I love this gym. It's never overcrowded to the point where you can't get through your planned exercises. It's also extremely clean. You see staff cleaning the facility and machines on a regular basis. Lastly, they offer great amenities and classes for the price. Being able to use the sauna and take classes as part of the regular membership is a huge bonus. I've frequented yoga studios for years, and have generally avoided yoga classes outside of those venues because typically the classes are not great quality. That's totally not the case at matrix. The teachers and overall class vibe far exceeds my previous experiences in similar settings. I would absolutely recommend this gym to anyone in the area!”

“I started coming to Transform 2-3 times a week about a year ago. Coming in I was out of shape and overweight. Being new to working out I got setup with Jason who’s a personal trainer at Transform. “EDIT: I haven't been attending classes in maybe over a month, consistently. Which, is OK! Everyone's life journey is different. LET ME TELL YOU. Just, keep going and never give up on the exercises! Even when your body is shaking, keep GOING. My latest class REALLY opened up my hip flexors-and it was great! (From the kicking)From 11 months ago:I had gone to my first class yesterday, and it was so exciting! The fact that this place exists in the Bronx is such a blessing. Upon walking in, I was greeted by Ms. Debbie. she was super kind and friendly! My instructor yesterday was Marcy. With her class for today, we HIIT the bag. I've never had the opportunity to consistently hit a punching bag several times in a row!! And, wow, yesterday's workout made me sweat like I've never done before! Hitting the bag consistently really has to do with endurance. The whole experience was super exiliarating and I already want to go back! We did a few ab exercises also, and a light stretch at the end.There are SO many punching bags! I like that there is also other workout equipment in the rear of the gym. Perfect for the variety of different classes they offer. A great asset to this community.”

“Amy at RB Fitness is the literal best! I’ve been training with her for about 2 months and it’s been bittersweet! She’s someone who pushes you and motivates you to keep aspiring toward your goal.
