I just wish the lockers would be cleaned a bit more and the music to be a bit more serious since during my workout I im on that last rep then I hear some cringy ah music play and it gets me off guard. I also would prefer a bike rack of some sort because not everybody that comes here has a car. Honestly I prefer this gym over impact because there arent any machine hoggers like impact and its less imtimidating because of all those sarm goblins at impact. The workers here are also very nice and not so strict like impact. I hope the gym playlist changes soon ?”

After a couple of weeks here, we've done work with equipment like stones, sandbags, tires, sledgehammers and kegs. Not something you expect to see everywhere!I love the space and the big garage door. When it's open for some air or the light, it's so refreshing.So thankful that Dutch Kills is in the area.”

“I’ve been training with coach Phil for over 4 years and there is no place I’d rather be when I’m working out. He really works with each of his clients to meet their personal needs even when it’s a group workout. Through the pandemic he accommodated his clients the best way he could to make it work. I was truly impressed by how he kept everything together. Even post surgeries I had, he made the workouts fit whatever my body was going through. (From the kicking)From 11 months ago:I had gone to my first class yesterday, and it was so exciting! The fact that this place exists in the Bronx is such a blessing. Upon walking in, I was greeted by Ms. Debbie. she was super kind and friendly! My instructor yesterday was Marcy. With her class for today, we HIIT the bag. I've never had the opportunity to consistently hit a punching bag several times in a row!! And, wow, yesterday's workout made me sweat like I've never done before! Hitting the bag consistently really has to do with endurance. The whole experience was super exiliarating and I already want to go back! We did a few ab exercises also, and a light stretch at the end.There are SO many punching bags! I like that there is also other workout equipment in the rear of the gym. Perfect for the variety of different classes they offer. A great asset to this community.”
