“YELP ELITE BADGE EVENT at The Promenade on 6 in the hamlet of Carmel, NY. January 21, 2024 This little indoor mall houses a few cute shops, an art gallery featuring local artists in a variety of mediums, a vintage clothing shop, outdoor adventures owned and operated by New York State, certified guide, Austin. (Some equipment is available to consign or purchase). Austin can help you put together an outdoor adventure for most skill levels: fishing, hiking, boating, safety, etc. I spent a few minutes with the acupuncturist, and had some fun tinsel extensions put in at Roz and Kat's hair salon which got some compliments from total strangers when I stopped to pump gas on my way home. The DJ was playing in the background and had a fun playlist which supported the crowd today. Some very talented people have set up shop here so it's worth a stop by. WHAT a Nice YeLP adventure on a really bitter day. LOCATION : directly on route, six across from shopping Plaza and down the street from McDonald's and adjacent to KFC. There is on-site parking.”
“Need catered 3ft wedges for your party? We've had Tyler and Henry take care of us for two family parties at St John's down the street. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent food. We don't even live in NY anymore and we still use them for parties when we're in town.”

“I entered Rite Aid for a few items and was greeted so nicely by Dee. I was with my 2 year old daughter who absolutely loved Dee’s joyful personality. She helped us find what we were looking for quickly. It’s nice and refreshing to have such wonderful and personable people like Dee working at Rite Aid!”

“Cash and credit at the same price, which is great. Pumps are updated and work with the Mobil app seamlessly. Location also has hand sanitizer terminals at the pumps which is convenient. They have Kerosene and a car vacuum on site as well as a convenience store.”

“This Cumberland Farms is in the middle of nowhere, inexplicably with a Stop & Shop and Shell across the street. (Maybe there was more over the hill. I don't know, I didn't go that way.) I imagine the heads of Cumberland Farm and Shell met there when it was a grassy field, and decided there, in quiet New York, they would put up rival gas stations for exhausted travelers and theirs would be a great rivalry for the local history books. There are no obvious signs of victory or defeat to indicate who may be winning. I went with Cumberland Farms because I noticed it with enough time to turn. The station has like eight pumps available, and a pretty big store for snacks. In addition to your regular chips and sodas, they also have hot dogs, coffee, and grab & go sandwiches. It seems to have a strong local following; the other customers seemed to know the cashier. At present, they seem to be having AC issues because it's warm in there! Not unbearable, but not for extended periods of time for people who prefer the fall or winter. There are public restrooms which are actually pretty clean, that earned this station five stars for me!”

“I used to come here everyday when I used to live around here. A lot of good memories for a Gas station, even before the location was called Xtra Mart. Now that I live in Cali I go to the Chevron station and their store is called the Extra Mile, LmAo! Close enough for me! This place always had friendly employees. Small town so everyone knew eachother anyways.”
“I am very sick and finally able to have a virtual visit with my doctor around 4:30pm this afternoon, my doctor sent the prescription to Rite Aid and I know they close at 5pm and I know there is no way I could get my medication today. Surprisingly I received a phone call from the pharmacist Dominy at 4:46pm and informed me the medication is ready to pick up and she will wait for me. I felt the care and she went above and beyond to take care her customer’s need. All I want to say and give to Dominy and Rite Aid is a big “THANK YOU”!!!”

“7-Eleven is very expensive. And you must watch the prices. Because nothing is priced correctly on the shelves. And whenever they have specials they never apply them at the register. You have to watch that register like a hawk as they are ringing stuff up. It's soda is two bottles for $5 you have to carefully make sure that that's what they charge you.”

“I recently visited the cvs located on Padanaram road because the cvs on Lake Ave ext did not have the prescription we needed. I also needed another item. First I want to compliment the young lady who was at the prescription pick up line. Her name is Ana. The line was long and she managed 2 registers at the same time keeping the line moving answering questions all with a smile and total professionalism! She was patient and helpful to everyone she took care of. I also needed help with another item which Anaiyah helped me with. She walked me to 2 different aisles helping me look for the item. And when she couldn't find it she looked it up on her phone and found it. Without her help I'd still be looking for it. Excellent customer service. Totally impressed with both of these beautiful young ladies!”
