“I received a call from Tom Reynolds inquiring about any interest I may have in trading in my current Trax for a new updated model. I declined the offer. He was understanding, not "pushy" and offered his assistance in the future should I/we ever need it. Hearing the honesty and respect in his voice I decided to proceed and inform Tom that my husband may be interested and had been looking at the Chevy Colorado with the Crew cab but I wasn't certain if he was ready to purchase at this time. “After many years of dealing with dishonest mechanics at dealerships and some shoddy independent shops, I searched Yelp and Google for a reputable mechanic near me, and JBI Automotive came up. The shop had excellent reviews, so I contacted the owner to discuss the rear suspension issues that had arisen on my car, and Jerry called me right back. He took time out of his busy week and had me bring the car in so he could diagnose it. He had me in the shop and showed me what was wrong, and reassured me the car was safe to drive to a wedding in Buffalo that weekend, but he wanted me to schedule a time within the next week or two so he could replace my rear struts. I love my 2003 Camry, and I want to keep it for as long as I can since I am close to retirement, and Jerry understood that. He did the repairs in a timely fashion, showing me the bad parts that he took out, and his charges were extremely reasonable. Recently, I brought my car back to him to ask him if my brakes would pass an inspection in November, and he found an issue with my front control arm that would not pass an inspection. He kept me updated during the whole time he had my car so I knew how things were progressing. He replaced the control arms and did my front brakes only (he said the back brakes were still good), and charged me a very reasonable price for the work. I would highly recommend Jerry, particularly to the ladies out there who have been taken advantage of by mechanics! I will be a customer for life! Thank you Jerry!”
