  Just came to close an account. I came twice before to try to release an account from dormancy. It took 2 visits and a phone call and submitting the paperwork twice to get it released a month later.   If you can use a different bank, do it. HSBC doesn’t want to do business with you anymore and their quality of service reflects that. Use a bank that actually wants your business.

  I agree with other reviewers. It’s no longer a friendly bank . Employees hide in their office and you sit and wait until someone comes out. Maybe..,,, Then you wait again. If you do not have a business account or a million dollar savings. Do your banking somewhere else. I used to love this bank. Now ??? Meh
