“It's taken me 70 years to find the best auto repair place in Central New York. Glad I persisted. Autotech is outstanding. They are honest; they do excellent work; and their pricing is way below what you would pay at a dealer or larger repair center. You will likely have to wait a few weeks for an appointment, but it's worth the wait. If there is a heaven, there are spots reserved there for Ed and Paul. “This was my first time using this shop. I brought my truck in the day before my appointment. They called me that afternoon to tell me it was done and ready. I ask them to check on my battery. They got back to me and said that yes it needed to be changed out before winter. I picked it up the day I was supposed to have it worked on. Very happy with the shop and they had great communication and follow up.”

Not anymore , so far its been great experience with these guys. Quick and cost effective . They are always respectful, have given me ride home and pick me up when my car is ready. You can bring your own parts ( but there will not be any guarantees from them if you use your own part) . I have been there with my faimly and they are very friendly and nice withkids . “Excellent !! I needed a starter for my silverado. I usually do my own work as much as I can. I diagnosed the problem myself and thought it was the starter but I could nit get the bolts out. Mike's service was highly recommended to me by a coworker. I decided to give them a chance. They diagnosed and came to the same conclusion, replaced my starter and charged me what I thought was very reasonable. I will honestly recommend them. If you need any auto repairs or something you can't figure out give Mike's service a chance.”

“My 19 year old son had a truck hitch fly into his front end while driving back to Long Island from upstate. He called to see if Village Auto could take a look at it and they told him, come on by right away. They made sure that the car was safe to drive it home and secured the headlight etc. I really appreciate that they helped him out. This was a pretty scary moment for him to have something come out of nowhere on a highway and Village Auto Center came through. Thank you!!”

“We brought my daughters car in because the AC wasn't working and to have it checked just to make sure nothing else needed to be repaired. Everything was fixed, but a couple days later we had the same issue. We brought it back and Gary took great care of us, making sure everything was fixed and perfect so my daughter wouldn't have any issues when she has to go back to college!!! He was great to work with and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be returning if I have any issues, or just for piece of mind that my daughter's car won't have any issues while she's at college!!! “What a great experience. I met Mr Robert who is one of the owners. I showed up about 5 minutes to 7:00 and he welcomed me in, he was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. We chatted about cars and life. I got a thorough car inspection and was back on the road in about 25 minutes. Sad to know he'll be retiring soon. I wish I'd found this place years ago..”

“One day my car drove great, the next day terrible. One day forward and reverse, the next day only reverse. ?♀️ so I took it to Gary's AUTO on North Main St. in North Syracuse. Gary stated he does NOT do transmissions but was happy to check out the situation and would let me know what I would need to do.In less than 3 hours I got a call from Gary...all my parts are good and gear shifter cable was working fine BUT, a PENNY got lodged in the gear box along with some other loose change. Apparently it's pretty common for "stuff" to fall under the boot and get trapped in the gear box.Gary is Honest, Experienced, and speaks "WOMAN"really well (that means he Listens and is Respectful) and is the BEST LOCAL AUTO MECHANIC for my family! Thanks Gary for getting me back on the road again so quickly ?”

“So i thought i had a bad front driver side wheel bearing. Being a shade tree mechanic i figured i could knock it out in a weekend. Unfortunately it was frozen in the hub pretty good. I decided to bring it over to Big 4 on midler park.i imagined they would be pretty busy and the jeep would be down for a few days. Jon Hart greeted me and explained he might be able to get it done by noon same day?!?! I was really excited about that. He mentioned he would take a look and get back to me. Within a few hours he called and explained my options and that both hubs need replacement. With 130,000 miles i figured it was due. Jon said they could complete the job by noon. I was complete impressed. The price was more than fair. Definitely check out Jon and his team. I will definitely bring my service work to Big 4 tire. Thanks for getting me back on the road quickly!”

“Took Truck to Bob as I always do for a oil change and look into that the Stabilzer turns on and off which also turns off my cruse control . Turns out it is a wheel bearing that Bob replaced years ago. Expecting a $500 bill Bob calls with good news.... Warranty covered the bearing and the oil change was the only bill coming my way !! “Best auto shop around. I recently snapped off the oil plug bolt right in the oil pan. Scotty's was the only place I called that even mentioned trying to get the bolt out instead of jumping straight to replacing the oil pan. They also diagnosed and fixed a bad temperature sensor for me in the past. Honest and dependable mechanic, I highly recommend them.”
