“My husband and I cannot thank this establishment enough for their help! We live 3 hours away. On our way to Oneonta to give our daughter (a SUNY Oneonta student) her car back after getting it inspected for her, the car began smoking and making noises. We didn't know what to do! We googled mechanics in the area. The first one we stopped at, lended no help. We went to Nate's next. He took one look and knew right away that the problem was the water pump. He said that he could fix it the next day. He even gave us advice as to a taxi service to help us out. We were stressed and upset, but Nate's saved the day! We took their business card and told our daughter to place it in her wallet for all future car issues! This place treated us with kindness, empathy and compassion. To us, this says a lot about a business! Nate's was also extremely reasonably priced! They permitted us to pay for the service in advance, so the cost would not be a burden for our daughter. We cannot recommend Nate's enough! Thank you Nate's for amazing service and for helping this very stressed out family during a troubling time!”
“Lance and Joe have an exceptional knowledge of vehicle parts, an extensive history with them, and - most importantly - the desire to give the customer the benefit of their experience. The very large inventory of commonly used parts is also very helpful, as is the wide variety of in-stock tools. Locally owned parts stores are always the way to go versus chain stores. Assuming, of course, that you want to get the correct, high quality part the first time, and not spend your day going back and forth to find one that fits and / or works.”

I just might be able to stop saying I hate car shopping.My experience- I spoke on the phone with sales (Kevin Zach) and gave him my price range and other specifications I was looking for.. I arrived at the dealership shortly after we spoke and he had two possible options pulled up for us to look at. He was knowledgeable on both.After choosing a vehicle our experience continued to be smooth and painless!Russell (finance) was great at providing information on warrantees so we could the best choice for our situation.Exceptional Experience start to finish!!”

“I needed a transfer case for my 1997 Toyota Tacoma. I had already purchased one with another company and has to send it back because it was the wrong one. I had to pay shipping charges to get a refund. So I found one with Wahls. They were So helpful and nice about the whole process. We both sent plenty of pictures to make sure was the correct one. I'm so greatful to have my truck running again. I would definitely order parts again from this company. They just did everything they could to get me my part.”
“Superb service. My car was brought there after hitting a very large deer. The staff at Homestead Auto were extremely helpful and professional. They also went to bat for me when the towing company was being less-than cooperative. They kept me uodated with everything that was happening with my car even when they waiting on the insurance company to contact them. I highly, highly recommend this establishment to those needing body work on their vehicle or are looking for a fair price on a vehicle to purchase.”

“Hit a deer and went to 3 auto bodies for quotes and Gerber Collision was the best and easiest to work with. Had the most amazing experience right from the beginning with estimate, which was fair and itemized that I could understand + service rates posted. They ordered parts and it was a quick turn around and fast repair. Their team went above and beyond, including friendly person and at front desk and the cutest shop dog Doughnut. The communication was clear and timely, includes print out of estimate and repair receipts. The repair looks great + they made the car look even better then I brought it in with vacuum and light cleaning, even shined up the other headlight (that the deer hadn’t smashed). Highly recommend, the best for collisions and glass in the area.”
“This place really saved us. I was Upstate for the weekend and noticed my tire was leaking air on a Sunday morning. Thank god they are open 7 days a week, unlike almost all shops in the Oneonta area. I called to see if the they could take a look at my tire and they said yes, so I brought my car in. The mechanic found a screw and patched up my tire in an hour and I was on my way home to the city. I will definitely keep this place in mind for the future.”

“They always try their best to fix all the problems but sometimes human error comes in and they just do the best they can. Some negative reviews are unfair. Oil changes are super quick and if it only takes a few minutes to fix something without parts or just checking everything over, no charge for the most part. Mechanics aren’t machines that get everything right every time. All in all I would recommend Mr. Tire for most repairs.”
