“Great experience at Right Angle Picture Framing. I had a two historic photos that needed high quality framing. The team there took incredible care and were able to guide me in the best matting, frame, and glass options. The photos were somewhat delicate, but the staff were did a great job to ensure that they went through the process perfectly. And the final product truly looks amazing. I highly recommend them!”

“Can you believe that this flamingo is made out of bronze and painted? It looked like glass to me. Four artists had displayed their artwork at the Agora Gallery located at West 25th Street in the heart of the Chelsea art galleries. Entitled “A Chromatic Affair” the paintings and sculptures were exhibited in a spacious gallery. Joanna at the reception desk explained the show and artists to me. While I looked at the rest of the artworks, I kept gravitating towards the flamingos as their colors were in vibrant cerise and rose pinks.”

“David and Richard run a great gallery! The work they show is of the highest quality and they are not afraid to take a chance on a potentially great emerging artist while showcasing more acclaimed artists. They are two of the hardest working people in the business who work tirelessly and ethically to get great work into the world and keep artists doing what they do best: creating.”

“I stumbled upon this cute place while exploring the city. I had never heard of a zine before but was in awe when I walked in. It’s easy to forget about time and get lost in all the zines and books. The staff is really kind and passionate about the arts. Savannah really took her time to show me what Zines are all about. I was really inspired by her. I can’t wait to come back in the fall when I’m in the city.”

“Captivated by the sights and sounds of my earlier years growing up in NYC earlier this May as I was drawn by the music of my teen hood. I turned the corner onto Orchard St and Grand St, and I was transported into the 80s by the sight of people dancing and enjoying the community. I then saw a mural so reminiscent of my childhood Bronx and Brooklyn and the glorious works of art that just flowed out of doors ajar. The Shin Gallery was having an art exhibition opening unlike I've seen (moved me but I'm just an admirer) and as I walked towards the door the word almost pierced my heart. TIMELESSWords can't express what I saw, how I felt and how much I felt wrapped in an atmosphere of warm memories and in awe all at once. Kool Koor. Took me back and brought me back. Very cool. Thank you Shin Gallery.”

“Not the most expansive gallery space but they pack a lot of great stuff in there! If the exhibits are at all in your sphere of interest (IE, design and creation of objects) it is a great additional stop along with the NYHS or the MNH! Not for kids though, certainly!”

“Great shave I went to an art show here that was so amazing and raw I saw a piece by a guy named Anthony called I am God that just roped me in and I'm not really into art but that one just spoke to me. Aside from the at pieces the space was nice and cozy definitely a good place to demonstrate and display art pieces. I had a blast here.”

“Gorgeous gallery with some very unique and culturally relevant pieces, as shown in some of the photos I've attached. The artist, Voodo Fé has a great talent in his portrayals of notable figures like Frida Kahlo and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and adorns his pieces with all sorts of materials aside from pure paint, such as fabric, flowers, old records, and more. The gallery is nicely put together with multiple rooms for viewing. The staff member was friendly and informative about the pieces, and the prices hang on the walls so you don't have to wonder what range you're looking in. I noticed the pieces range from around $250-$300 for the smallest pieces, and up to $7000-$8000 for the larger (and naturally my favorite) ones. Actually, there were some even smaller pieces that might be of a lower cost, so even if those seem out of budget, might as well come look. It is a great spot to come and browse, or buy.”

“I recently got a large & non-standard size painting framed here. I had doubts on the frame color and I was suggested a black w/ brushed gold trim. The painting was put on a new stretcher, and we discussed a bit how it would be done. The results were impressive, the painting now seems to pop a bit more and complements our living room quite well. I did notice that they the edge of the canvas that was left unpainted by the artist was painted black. For me, and for this was a super nice touch b/c it doesn't leave the white canvas exposed on the side.”

“Selection, quality and class make this a must destination for discerning people in look for one of a kind 18th century French furniture and furnishings (but they have a piece here and there from England, Italy and other places as well). They have the entire five stories to themselves so Dalva Brothers (a 3rd generation family-run business) will sure have something for you. Being in a bit of a hurry i saw just the first 2 floors, but if they are a reflection of what is to be found on the other floors, then i am visiting soon again. Among what caught my eye i saw an impressively carved cinnabar lacquer area table, two large toddler marble busts, a few Italian-made coastal-scene wall-mounted moquettes made of wood, and a larger than average self-propelled wheelchair -it almost looked like a throne-on-wheels, really! So, next time you are in the city, stop by. While selling serious works they will make you feel relaxed and at ease.”
