“I went into the New Hyde Park store and was politely greeted by a gentleman named Mark. I described what I needed and he guided me to a number of selections that would fit my needs.
He was very patient and really knew his products. I could tell I was working with someone who had many years of experience and knowledge. I didn't make a purchase at that moment as I wanted to get a second opinion from my partner, who has a much keener eye.
We went back this past Saturday and again Mark was incredibly helpful. I finalized the deal with Reese, who was also vert helpful.

“Holy moly. This is the best building store for both pros and DIY’ers. The store was renovated and restocked in first part of 2024 and it’s even better than before. Riverhead is my go to for lumber, trim and moulding, paint and stains, cauks, both common and rare fasteners, drywall supplies, general building supplies and tools. They carry most of the stuff big box does but with a friendly expert staff.

I built a really cool toolbox for my gardening tools, and even my kids were impressed.Restoration Oak's shop is a must-see, filled with creative goods from Columbia, including handcrafted wood furniture. “This Lowe's right here , the HICKSVILLE location Lowe's . Needs to have a fire works show right in front of the store with giant blimp floating right above them that reads " WELCOME EVERYBODY " My experience with this Lowe's team was amazing . My guy STAN helped me out he was very knowledgeable and made shopping a lot easier. I didn't get that sense of being rushed at all ; which I totally get turned off from but that was not the case here . Even when I got a lil picky and wanted to refund , repurchase transaction done , they made it that happen smoothly and their just so friendly from the people on floor to the self check out lady asking if everything's alright ?
