“Decided to try out the two week trial. I’m currently on week one and I’ve been taking my classes with Saro so far and it’s been amazing. I feel like I’m working out my whole body but also getting help when I need it. I gained so much more. At OTF, you only compete against yourself and at the NHP location specifically, the extremely supportive and friendly staff help you reach your goals and beyond. This place is more than a gym, it’s a community, one of the best parts of my day and as a working mom, one of the best decisions I have made for ME! I merely go for the open gym and even though it's not as big as other commercial gym, I get the best workout done here and wouldn't go back to other gyms. Staff are super friendly and the facility is thoroughly clean. I have taken two of their classes and the trainers are very attentive and makes sure you are reaching your goal. Would highly recommend anyone to join”

My two daughters as well as my niece went for marshal arts training, jujitsu and boxing. Pierre did a amazing job at making it fun and teachable. I’ve tried other schools but none can compare to this school. Honestly, it was one of my best decisions to put my kids in this lovely and amazing school. They loved learning and it’s great exercise. I can’t recommend this school enough. Definitely try it at least and you will be hooked.”

2477 Merrick Rd, Bellmore“I took my first class very early one morning, so it was just me and one other person. This made the class feel very personal, and the instructor was able to train us on a better level. It was a 30 minute class that consisted of using the climber machine half the time and then doing light weight lifting the other half. I wasn't crazy about the machine because it was a bit too intense for me, but I enjoyed the other half of the class. The instructor was awesome and kept pushing us beyond what we thought we could handle. I don't think this is the type of studio I would buy a membership at, but I would buy some drop in classes.”

“Was never really a cardio guy but our volunteer FD set us up with a class here and I have to say I was impressed with the end result. Left with jelly legs but feeling really good. Very interesting and different approach then being at a standard run of the mill gym. If you're looking to build your cardio and burn some serious calories I would highly recommend checking it out. Coach Laura really knew how to get you motivated. Would definitely consider going again.”

“My husband and I joined Island Park fitness in 2021. Best decision ever!! We love the coaches, programming and all the members. There’s plenty of class times to choose from so no excuse not to get there. What I really like is the fact that we do the warm up together. Something my previous gym didn’t do. You were on your own to do the warm up.The coaches take their time to go over the WOD, answer any questions and modify whatever you need to your ability. So if you’re thinking about joining, come on in and take a class. You won’t regret it!”
