I've had nothing but good experiences with this branch. I had problems with a branch in Utica when a relative died and brought my concerns to Tim and he took care of it right away with compassion as well due to circumstances. At the time, I was new to the area and was not familiar with Berkshire nor any of its staff. I recently opened a new account and he was the same friendly helpful person I had remembered. I think we tend to forget Tim or any other employee is a rep for the bank (not our neighbor or the kid our son played on the same Little League team or the guy/gal that comes to our summer picnics. They all follow strict Federal procedures. We may get mad but it's the bank as a corporation. And honestly, all banks promise the best business but I'm sure we've experienced things that made us not like that bank which is why we're at Berkshire. Take a page out of the old days and maintain a good relationship with those at the bank, watch your accounts and they'll help you and go the extra mile for you.

One of the worst maintained (open) bank branches I have ever seen. Cobwebs inside and out. Cracks in the walls. Terrible sidewalks. Rusting steel outside. Berkshire should be embarrassed to have this open to the public!I wonder if they will close this branch soon with everything in poor repair.

This branch is the worst I have seen in my 10 years of holding small business accounts . The bank was in the wrong for falsely charging me overdrafts fees. I pointed out where they dropped the ball , how the mistake of my account being charged fees despite the account having money In to cover . The 'employee' mellisaa Rowell of bank raised her voice and told me 'Are you going to keep running your mouth ' I felt threatened by her conduct . All I did was explain how they're system is flawed and they are wrong. It's business and the employee took it personally. Offended me , disrespected Me and showed poor class and ethics. What a horrible way to conduct yourselves Berkshire bank. I wish there were more platforms[this review will be left on Facebook, Google and yelp though] I could let people know to avoid this bank on! LESS THAN 1 STAR! TIM DAILY , you and your staff should be ashamed of yourselves .

Rudest clerk I’ve ever dealt with! She was rude on the phone and rude in person. I don’t understand how someone can go about their day and be so rude and unpleasant (and still also have a job?) but that’s the way they do things here, I suppose.

Ilion branch is terrible!!! Rude on the phone and apparently are to incompetent to do their jobs. I did an ATM deposit on Friday with my pay role check (in littlefalls branch this was said to be instant with no hold) its now Monday night and still nothing... when I called she said they will do it when they get around to it "normally late" is what the lady said... she was rude and short with me over the phone. I will be switching banks because of this branch. I wish I got her name for that I'm sorry.

I have never dealt with such bad customer service as I have with Berkshire bank. They are absolutely rude. Some lady named Nancy has repeatedly called my work harassing my co workers about me. I plan on refinancing my car with a different bank because this is absolutely absurd.

The most terrible bank I have ever done business with. To name a FEW issues: My debit cards don't always work, they hold my CASH and direct deposits before they are available, the tellers are extremely cranky even when you try to be pleasant with them. I only wanted to bank with them because they are close and convenient location for me. But the headaches are not worth it. Other banks in the area are way better!
