“Rushed to the Post Office after work to get there before they closed. Literally made it by 2 minutes. I had to file paperwork to open a PO Box. I was greeted by Ar-Nay who took the extra time to help me even though it was after 5pm. She was so kind and helpful. She didn’t rush me at all. Because of her I was able to cross something off my to-do list without having to come back another day. Thanks, Ar-Nay!”
“I don't go to the local post office often but every time the people who work here are courteous and quick. I went there today and the lady working there completely went out of her way to help me out with my package without letting the line backup.”

“Every time I go in there they workers are having a party, swinging from the lamps, dancing, blaring the music, drinking cocktails. I think I smell weed sometimes too. I usually hang out for a couple of songs and then leave buzzed, I usually forget to mail my letters LOL. Did anyone ever play that game with with the postage scale they are always playing? SO FUN!”

“I am not from Islip, but from Queens, NY and was visiting a relative. I lost my receipt but two weeks ago, I was sending a package out to Florida, for my niece's birthday. Postal Clerk Mary attended me, as I walked in. She was engaging, warm and asked all the pertinent questions related to my shipment. She even asked if I needed stamps and I had forgotten, that I DID NEED stamps!I wish every Clerk in the US Post Office was as endearing, proficient and professional as: MARYI'm sorry I lost the receipt but I hope someone on the job or neighbor sees this post and that it brightens MARY'S day, as she did mine.”

“⚡Lisa - Their Awesome! Rocky Pt. Post Office. Superb Customer Service 10⭐. So, the message said the package was delivered. But I didn't receive the package. So I called up The P.O. main headquarters.They said my local P.O. will get back to me in 2-3 days. THEN, 30 minutes later I got a call. It was Rocky Point Post Office, The Supervisor, Tracy? She got my details about the package and said, "We will track it down, don't worry. I will call you tomorrow." I said ok. Then tomorrow Came. I answered the call, it was Post Office Supervisor Tracy. She said your package should be at your door. I went to the Front door AND Low and BEHOLD aaaahhhh the Package was right at my Front Door.?? I was So HAPPY! It was like magic. I didn't even hear them arrive.I needed that package so bad, too? OMG! What Fantastic Service✨ Best Service I have ever seen! Way to be! Rocky Point Post Office!!!? Hey Everyone, Postman Joe Retired. “Usually there is no line in this place unlike other big post offices. Since this is a branch office with only one person working, the work hours are shorter. I decided to leave this review cuz other previous reviews are somewhat too hostile. Thank you for the service!”
“This is my favorite post office. The staff at the front desk is always very friendly, efficient and willing to assist. And also their closing hours are a little bit more late than most of the other posts offices, they close at 5:30pm, what makes it more convenient.”
“I would not believe a review that starts with "This is the worst post office in Suffolk County" unless you believe said person visited the well over 100 post offices in Suffolk County. Hardly ever a line, staff is always courteous and friendly. Would not blame them for following federal regulations or a delay that happened on the road probably in another state.”

“I don’t think it’s fair that no one has ever taken the time to review the counter service at our local Post Office. I am there on a regular basis, as I run on online yarn business. I am always met with polite, professional, service! Even during the stressful holiday period. We live in a time when everyone is quick to complain. I want the Post Master to know that I never see sending my packages as a chore, and that’s because of the staff working there. Kudos??!”
