2725 Grand Island Blvd, Grand Island“Can I give them more than 5 stars?Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Had to get my one ferret in quickly for a medical issue, they got me scheduled right away.Staff is always great with the animals, alway willing to answer any questions you may have.”
“I recently came here with my turtle Rexie, right from the start there was a calm aura and both receptionists are super nice. The assistant and vet were both super nice and patient. The vet was super gentle with rexie, and rexie actually let her hold her head. I was so shocked. But of course, once she realized what happened, she didn't let her do it again, lol. They also helped me stay in my budget, which was perfect. But rexie did perfect, and so did they. 100% will be coming back in the future. Wonderful people who work there.”
“Receptionist staff was very accommodating and extremely kind. They got me in same day even though I was not a patient of theirs. Although I am now! The tech was very sweet to my cat and showed real compassion with the situation. The vet came in and gave my cat a treat right away to help ease her and she loved her like I would. She gave me all the information I needed to help with further issues and answered all my questions.
Truly a great experience. I would recommend 10 times over.”
“Comprehensive vet practice. 5 doctors, all excellent. Certified Vet techs. Excellent care. "Reggie Approved!"
The care is exemplary. We are always given all the information and advice we need. Reggie shows no anxiety or reluctance to visit.
The staff are all at the highest level. Very professional and competent. Never a negative experience in 9 years!”
“I have been bringing my cats to Summer Street Cat Clinic for the past 15ish years. All of the staff have been so kind and compassionate. From the easy yearly checks through some of the most difficult moments in my cats lives, staff have taken the time to make sure we were fully informed about the cat’s health, answered all of the questions no matter how ridiculous they may have been, and helped to navigate making the most difficult of decisions. I cannot imagine taking my cats anywhere else. ?”
“All of the staff are very friendly and understanding, I have gotten invaluable advice from the doctors and Vet techs here. It is a vet I feel is fair and honest. I would definitely recommend their services”
“I am a first-time dog owner. I have a Labradoodle puppy. It was my first time coming into the Ellicott Street animal hospital and veterinary clinic. Upon arrival The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I found the waiting room to be clean and spacious. I watched how they took care of dogs that were there for surgery and separating from their owners. They took the upmost care and responsibility for these peoples pets. That made me very happy we were brought back into a room. My dog was very frightened, and the doctors and the staff took very good care of him, he was given a few vaccinations. It was a very pleasant experience and cost-effective. Thank you so much”
“We brought our cat in for an issue with her sight. Dr Burkard was so kind and took the time to review her past medical history. She was very thorough and really put our minds at ease with her diagnosis and treatment.”
“The Veterinarian and Techs are very friendly and helpful. They we available when my vet could not see my cat because of my cats abscess. Since then I have switched all 3 of my cats to Wheatfield TY.”
“I've been taking my dilute tortie, Eowyn, to West Side the whole time I've lived on the west side. They always take such good care of her and help me monitor her weight and pancreatitis and any other health issues that she may start having as an aging cat. They are so kind and gentle with her and are very helpful with her and they make going to the vet as easy as possible for my girl. Thanks!”

2880 Sheridan Dr, Tonawanda“My granddaughter’s dog, Ella who lives with us now had some digestive problems and treated excellent by Dr. Mahoney - it was a great experience for both us & Ella. Thank you”
“Dr. Hider is the gentlest, kindest, and most caring doctor.
Secretaries, assistants, and techs are knowledgeable, professional, and most compassionate.
Bodie loves them!”
“They are a gentle place. I've brought many pets here, healthy ones, sick ones, and ones that needed to be put down. They're respectful for your grievance. I wouldn't trust my pets anywhere else”
“All of these negative reviews disgust me. If I didn't move, I'd still be going to McBride. Dr Parkhill is one of the most sincere and reasonably priced vets I have ever had. From fitting me in last minute for not one, but two separate cat situations (one for my senior seizure kitty Stella) and (one for when I rescued three kittens from the woods at camp) to just overall yearly appointments for my three adult cats. She was great and througho. Answered EVERY question or concern I had in full, and always gave me more than one option when it came to medical requirements for the cars, giving me a choice to decide what I felt would be best in my situation. As for the front desk staff you guys complain about, just like any other human if you're nice to them, they'll be nice to you. Don't walk in all miserable or yelling. You'll get the same respect you dish out. Five stars for McBride and if I ever return to the Tonawandas I will be going right back to them”

2115 Sawyer Dr, Niagara Falls“We loved Dr.Mike when we had our beautiful German Shorthaired Pointer Gucci. He would always tell us that she was a beautiful dog in peak condition and I wish we could have taken her there right before she died but circumstances prevented us and the vet who helped us end her suffering didn't even send us a conference card after we paid them to end her suffering from an inoperable brain tumor ?”
“I have been bringing my dogs to NTAH for several years. I feel that they provide the highest level of veterinary care in western NY. Their extremely knowledgeable, boarded Drs. haven't steered me wrong yet. They have connections to put you in touch with qualified specialists if needed, which I did. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to take your pets for health care if you want the best for them.”

3316 Military Rd, Niagara Falls“I’ve been to A LOT of vets, for routine and emergency procedures. All of them prior besides OSU seem to price gauge and seem to care more about the green other than the animals. I truly believe many vets in this area are part of some sort of conglomerate and keep prices similar and attempt to crush those that do not comply.
This vet, completely goes against that norm. This was my first experience with them, for teeth cleaning / removal along w a fat mass removal on my Beagle. They were 1/2 the price of other vets in area ($1,500-$2,000 compared to over $3,000).
Not only that, a pet peeve of mine is vets requiring payment prior to treatment, which all in area do. DRIVES ME NUTS! It was refreshing to drop off my dog here and have them say, “we will call you when she’s ready!” And not pull out my credit card. Like it’s my dog, I’ll pay for it. Gerber gets it!
When I went to get my Pup the bill was BELOW the LOW end of estimate!! I’ve also never had that. I always come in expecting to pay high end or over as I always have before. I have had an animal die on the table and they billed the high end!! Apparently the complete procedure was 100% complete and the animal died (w/o CPR) AND they apparently used everything they estimated on the high end. Ridiculous.
Will Gerber always be below low end? No, of course not, things happen. But it is just so nice to see people caring about animals and not nickel and dimeing.
Lastly, speaking of nickel and dimeing her nails were trimmed AND ears cleaned spotless! They didn’t call and ask to do that for the extra $15-$30 other vets charged. They just did it, free of charge!
It’s just unheard of nowadays. All these extras, below budget, friendly, pay at pick up.
They truly care for the customer and I can’t put into words how grateful and happy I am. Thank you!”

455 Ellicott St, Buffalo“After getting a young kitten for the very first time, my mind was bombarded with questions and fear of the unknown. Thankfully, I was able to speak with the McClelland staff and schedule a new patient appointment with no problem. When we arrived, we were quickly greeted with a friendly welcome. All the staff members were attentive and courteous. Dr. Carrig provided a thorough exam on our kitten, while answering our questions and fully addressing our concerns. You can tell he is very knowledgeable, and passionate about his profession. We know we are in great care in his hands and look forward to many years of visiting McClelland! 10/10 for outstanding service!”
“We’ve been taking our cats to CPAH since it first opened over 35 years ago. Dr Latson and the late Dr Susan Persico have been honest, compassionate and fair in their treatment of our fur babies. We wouldn’t take them anywhere else. You can be assured your pets will receive the best care at CPAH.”
“We take our three pups to them and they have always been absolutely wonderful. They are caring and very through too. The dogs and us always have a great experience”
“My pup has been going here since before we adopted him. He recently injured himself and they were able to get him in quickly and thoroughly examine him without causing him any discomfort. Everyone is very friendly, empathetic and made not only my fur baby comfortable but us as well. He ended up needing meds and I didn't walk out with an outrageous bill. We love it here.”
“Just want to share how wonderful this Hospital has been to us with special consideration to the atypical visits we’ve had. We have been going to them since this past July of 2023 after unexpectedly taking in a dog with some health and behavior issues. I am not an experienced foster and was not planning on taking in what makes our 4th dog. His name is Rex, he is a 3 year old, 130 lb Mastiff and can be very intimidating for an anxious and untrained dog with stranger fear. They got us in for a new patient visit very quickly and were extremely accommodating and understanding of his issues. They looked up old records and took extra time and extra staff to make sure he was cared for. Upon leaving one of his first appointments, he was mildly sedated, not listening to any commands and growling at any attempt to get him in the car. Being a dog of his size, I was unable to move him on my own. The staff all came out, helped me get him back into the office, got him on a stretcher where we then slid him into the backseat of my car. This was incredibly stressful and heartbreaking for me but the staff made it bareable and eased so much of my anxiety. Since then, he has decompressed well, been neutered and has been in behavior training classes that has significantly helped his fear and anxiety however, he has also now developed a seizure disorder that landed us in the ER vet a few weeks ago. I had a follow up appointment with VCA Sheridan however I became very sick myself and called to reschedule his visit. However, after doing so, he had another seizure. The staff was once again wonderful and agreed to fit him in for a sick visit and examen him while I waited in the car. He has since been on seizure medications and starting to do better but is still having some neurological concerns. Without an appointment, his doctor agreed to meet with me in person and we discussed some next possible steps in his care plan. Thanks to them, we feel more at ease with everything going on and know that whatever is to come, we are in good hands !! Despite him being a foster, we feel that he won’t be going anywhere any time soon”
“I previously wrote a review when I was angry. I would like to edit my review. The doctors at Kildewald are very good and attentive to my concerns. Also, the environment is immaculate. The problem I had was with some of the support staff who need to respond to customers in a more compassionate way. I discussed my concerns with the doctor and she was very receptive to my suggestions. Susan DeWald”

“From front desk to room appointments with the vet and technicians, You can feel the true happiness and energy they give to service your fur baby's. They have an amazing staff and make it easy for you and your animals. I’ve had a great experience with them for the past few years I’ve been with them. Prices tend to be high but unfortunately that’s a problem with all vets. You can trust you will have an amazing experience here.”
