Absolutely delighted. In search of special rails to fix an older file cabinet. The owner amazed me by finding metal pieces, cutting them down to size to match the one I still had, and then taking the time to notch them to match. All at an incredible price. This man and his store are GEMS...thank you so much for helping!

I have to thank the owner. He took the time to help me on two separate occasions, to find the correct small parts to hook up something to my faucet. The first time was easier. The second time, i showed up just as he was closing on a Friday. I had been to Home Depot the day before, and a plumbing supply store as they recommended; neither had the needed parts. Rather than give up when he didn't have either, what looked like what was needed, he took the time to understand the problem and then figure out how to attach two different parts together, to complete the hookup. This sale was around $10 and again, i really appreciate his attention to figure this out. The other stores just said they didn't have it, 'they don't make it' or 'try online,' but this business owner cared and solved the problem! Thank you.

These guys are just not fit to run a business. Unfriendly, indifferent and don't bother responding to your questions or what you need. They watch your every step as soon as you walk into the store as if they expect you to be a shop lifter. Very disrespectful !

I called ahead and they said they had my needed item but then I arrived and it was not available. They don't seem to know the product lines well.

These guys don't listen. I was looking for cement to seal cracks around the heating pipe in my bathroom but the one guy there kept either talking about sheet rock or recommending something flammable. I walked out since I'm not getting anything that would potentially burn down my apartment building.

This place has been here for over a century, but I'd never noticed it. They have everything, and the staff is knowledgable. I'll never go to Home Depot again.

I always try to support our small, neighborhood businesses.Originally, I gave them a 5 star rating.But after dramatic changes,I stopped being a customer.Nowadays, they are usually out of important items.Even worse, the new staff is cold and nasty.
