“My husband and I cannot thank this establishment enough for their help! We live 3 hours away. On our way to Oneonta to give our daughter (a SUNY Oneonta student) her car back after getting it inspected for her, the car began smoking and making noises. We didn't know what to do! We googled mechanics in the area. The first one we stopped at, lended no help. We went to Nate's next. He took one look and knew right away that the problem was the water pump. He said that he could fix it the next day. He even gave us advice as to a taxi service to help us out. We were stressed and upset, but Nate's saved the day! We took their business card and told our daughter to place it in her wallet for all future car issues! This place treated us with kindness, empathy and compassion. To us, this says a lot about a business! Nate's was also extremely reasonably priced! They permitted us to pay for the service in advance, so the cost would not be a burden for our daughter. We cannot recommend Nate's enough! Thank you Nate's for amazing service and for helping this very stressed out family during a troubling time!”
“Lance and Joe have an exceptional knowledge of vehicle parts, an extensive history with them, and - most importantly - the desire to give the customer the benefit of their experience. The very large inventory of commonly used parts is also very helpful, as is the wide variety of in-stock tools. Locally owned parts stores are always the way to go versus chain stores. Assuming, of course, that you want to get the correct, high quality part the first time, and not spend your day going back and forth to find one that fits and / or works.”

“Nice people that do a great job! I wanted to get a funky 1960's English made carb rebuilt and another carb company told me they don't work on that model. Treadwell Carb said something like, "Yeah, they are fussy but I get parts in direct from the UK to service those" Got it back, bolted it on and started right up and has run smoothly for the past 5 years without adjustments. Mailing them a different carb today and looked up their address for shipping and decided to leave them a review.”

“Superb service. My car was brought there after hitting a very large deer. The staff at Homestead Auto were extremely helpful and professional. They also went to bat for me when the towing company was being less-than cooperative. They kept me uodated with everything that was happening with my car even when they waiting on the insurance company to contact them. “They always try their best to fix all the problems but sometimes human error comes in and they just do the best they can. Some negative reviews are unfair. Oil changes are super quick and if it only takes a few minutes to fix something without parts or just checking everything over, no charge for the most part. Mechanics aren’t machines that get everything right every time. All in all I would recommend Mr. Tire for most repairs.”
