“Very friendly and helpful U-Haul center. We have used a few different ones and this is the best in the area. Some difficulty finding it initially with GPS, so call and ask for directions if you are unfamiliar with the location. Truck was very new and in excellent condition. Staff is pleasant and efficient. Entire rental experience, from booking to return, was smooth and easy.”

“It’s been a year since we used this Uhaul service but I was just reminded of our experience with them. They were hands down the best Uhaul place I’ve ever dealt with and I’ve used uhaul a lot. Super super friendly and upgraded our Uhaul for free since they didn’t have the size we wanted. Also included a few free furniture dollies when we were hesitant to rent them since our budget was pretty tight. Easy to return after hours as well. Like I said it’s been a year since we used them and I still remember how great it was.”

“Hired a 20ft truck plus some dollies from here through the U-Haul website for a weekend move. The guys in the office were well prepared and had everything ready to go and answered all the questions I had. The truck itself was in great condition. On return I pulled up on the adjacent road and one of the staff reversed it back in and signed it off quickly. It was a pleasant experience all round and I would use this business again.”

“Coming here with a friend who needed to rent a trailer to load and unload materials a bit later on. The gentleman was very polite and professional when we first rented it. Upon returning the trailer the same gentleman and woman behind the register was both professional and friendly and polite. Overall very pleased with the services that was provided by parties here! “The owner Joe is a stand up guy and knows how to properly balance good business with great customer service. I was in a very overwhelming situation and had an issue with returning the truck on time. In my unfortunate experience of customer service in Carmel/Yorktown/Mahopac, I sadly hold very low expectations when it comes to how business owners/managers treat customers especially when surprise situations arise that cause an issue/interference. Joe however exceeded my expectations in every way.The issue resulting in a late drop off of the truck by 2 days was totally my fault, but Joe being upset and rightfully so, accomodated my mess up with a professional and courteous manner. He most certainly didnt have to be so accomodating but he was.Believe me when I tell you that the level of professionalism and above and beyond customer service was second to none! This alone is worth alot!!I highly recommend!!”

“I absolutely love this place. Devin and the rest of the team were super attentive, and very courteous. The online reservation system was glitching, so I showed up on a very busy weekend, and was able to secure a rental in person with no reservation almost immediately. Turn in was fast and easy. I have not had the same experience at other nearby car rentals (specifically, at the airport) and can't recommend this place enough.”

“Everything was great. Truck and auto transport trailer were ready when I arrived. Truck box had some little debris in it, but I wouldn’t say it was dirty.The equipment functioned perfectly and made the almost 900 mile journey perfectly. Would I rent from this location again? ABSOLUTELY! I highly recommend this location.”

“The location is great. Easy access to the van.The U-Haul mobile rental experience was an extra long process. You are going to want to start the pick up process at least 30 minutes early. The verification process took far too long. Doing everything online takes much longer than in person. U-Haul requires photos to be submitted during pick up of the vehicle's exterior and interior. You have to resubmit certain photos that were submitted during registration as well.They request contact phone numbers to verify with outside sources that you are in fact renting a vehicle. The agent that called the contacts marked the first contact as unreachable even tho they spoke with the person directly and hung up on them. They insisted on a second contact and it took more time to move past that step. The contacts should be asked for during registration, not at pick up. There were several additional questions that should have been asked during registration as well. There is a lot of room for improvement for this process.”
