“I’ve been hearing this rattling in my Camry for a few months. Took it to Toyota and they quoted me $3000 for new struts, top mount and sway bar. Took it to Fishkill Tire and Auto and asked if they could price me out. Bill said, “Let me take it for a drive first.” Within a few minutes he said, “that’s not the top mount or the struts. I think it’s coming from the brakes.” Lifted the car up and sure enough, the people that installed my brake pads cut them too short. It was the brake pad rattling! $140 and I was out with a car that no longer rattles! They just made a customer for life.”

“Was visiting Cornwall-on-Hudson from the city and needed an oil change and a battery inspection. Called ahead and Bruce Jr. got us in quickly first thing in the morning knowing we only had one car and needed it to get around. Dropped it at 8 a.m. and had the car back by 10:30 — he did an oil change, swapped our battery, changed the filters and windshield wipers, all while keeping us updated about the price (very transparent about labor costs too!) and the process/experience via phone calls. He went over all of the work again IRL when we returned to pick up the car. Bruce and his dad were honest and efficient and the service was excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to return if we are in the area again!”
“Mike, Jacob and the techs are great! I took my 2019 sonata, with 130k on the odometer in for a routine oil change, but I mentioned to Mike that the transmission was starting to feel a little clunky and inquired about maybe getting the fluid changed. He explained everything to me in detail and gave me all the options and opinions he has from his years of automotive experience. Even going as far as to say that it may not be a good idea to change the fluid, that if it’s already reached a certain point it could actually do more damage to change it. He said, let’s take a look at it. This is someone that cares more about doing the job right than just selling the customer whatever they can. They do great work for a good price. We ended up doing the transmission fluid change and now the car drives like it’s new. I will never bring my car to be worked on anywhere else, unless the guys at Greatway recommend it. Superb mechanic! Definitely service your vehicle at Greatway, especially if you are looking for tires.”
