65 Congress St, Cohoes“I cannot say enough how terrific their service was. The building was beautiful, food unbelievably delicious, and staff so kind and helpful. They were beyond accommodating for our wedding. Truly the venue of my dreams. It felt like a fairytale!!”
“My husband and I got married at the Kenmore last May and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue! We originally were planning to get married at a venue ~45min outside Albany, but switched to the Kenmore so that our guests could stay right next door, and to make the logistics easier for the morning of the wedding. We couldn’t be happier that we made the switch, and our guests loved that they could get brunch right in Albany, explore a little, and then walk over to the venue. The Kenmore is stunning from the grand staircase down to the bathrooms, and their staff made our wedding rehearsal and wedding day a breeze. There wasn’t an event booked the day before our wedding, so we were able to rehearse at the Kenmore and drop of some decor, which made the wedding morning a little less hectic. We also booked Katie O for our day of coordinators, which allowed us to start hair and makeup in the bridal suite at 9am without paying an extra fee, which was unique among a lot of venues we looked at. We had our ceremony on the Mezzanine, cocktail hour in the bar, and dinner and dancing in the ballroom, and it was so easy for guests to move between spaces, and there was more than enough space for our 100 guests. My husband and I aren’t big dancers, so it was really nice to have the separate bar area where we could chat with our guests without being right next to the dance floor. Another perk was that after the wedding, a bunch of our guests headed to one of the bars across the street to continue the party. We’ve recommended the Kenmore to all of our friends and family, and hope we get to attend another event there soon!”
“Our recent work event at The Refuge in Troy was met with unparalleled professionalism and service. The booking process was easy and efficient with quick responses. The space itself was pristine, well-organized, and worked well our small professional event. We have held a few different events at The Refuge over the last year and each time it has been lovely. We definitely recommend The Refuge to anyone looking for an intimate event space!”
“Great place to hang out and play whatever game you may be into. Board games, CCG's, TTRPG's, miniatures, etc. Whatever kind of gaming you're into, there is likely a day of the week (or multiple) that they have people there playing it.”

161 River St, Troy“I threw a baby shower at Hudson Candy Factory for approximately 32 guests. It far exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is simple yet elegant, every member of the staff was friendly yet professional. They went above and beyond to make sure every moment we were there we had everything we needed. The food was exceptional with all my guests raving about it. Any future events I plan to have, this will be my go-to venue.”
“I wish I could give this 0 stars so that I could keep this hidden gem a secret, but that would not be fair. . The food is amazing, with a homemade touch. The beer is great. And, above all, the people we met were all very friendly and welcoming. So glad we found this.”
“Went to a "Tulip Tea" We were served several different flavors of tea, tea sandwiches and desserts. A painted champagne glass was given for us to keep. Pleasant way to spend the afternoon.”

100 State St, Albany“The State Room was the first venue that my husband and I visited and we weren’t expecting to be so completely enamored! We would compare every other wedding venue we visited afterwards to The State Room. From the beginning, Lisa and Tom made us feel so at ease with wedding preparations and planning. They were always a phone call or email away and responded almost immediately. They were as invested in planning our wedding as we were and made sure that we followed a timeline and got things done–Tom and Lisa acted as our wedding planners! On top of that, you can’t beat the beauty and grandeur of the venue–just stunning!Tom showed up to the church about an hour before the ceremony to help out–he helped carry my dress and bouquet and made sure I had whatever I needed. You really are his priority and he makes it known. After the ceremony, Tom is right there to give you a bottle of water and whisk you back downtown in his car.I could write an entire review for the food itself. Everyone at the wedding was so full from the amount of food they ate–the largest prime ribs we have ever eaten, endless appetizers, and mountains of cake. And then a fun food finale to top it all off! Our guests are still talking about the food!We had the most wonderful wedding thanks to Tom and Lisa and the rest of the staff at The State Room!”

90 State St, Albany“We were the LAST couple to get married at 90 State Events! My husband and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with our experience with Mazzone! From the beginning, Shana and Olivia were upbeat, friendly and responsive! They made the process effortless and we knew we were in good hands, but on the day of our wedding THEY EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!!They worked fabulously with my amazing wedding planner, Kelly from The Main Event by Kelly to ensure our vision was BROUGHT TO LIFE!In our song, “Die a Happy Man” by Thomas Rhett he says “If I never get to see the Northern Lights I could Die a Happy Man.”Therefore, our colors were green and blue to symbolize the Northern Lights.I’ll let the picture speak for itself to see if we nailed it.Our wedding was seamless and EXACTLY what we wanted!MAKI (the bridal attendant) IS THE BEST! I needed floss, she had it to me in less than a minute, my dress needed a tide pen, she had it. I needed lip gloss, it was in her hand before I could ask.Mazzone Hospitality is an amazing TEAM and WORKED as ONE BIG TEAM WITH our amazing VENDORS!”
“My now wife and I had our wedding at Takk in ‘23 and could not be happier with how everything went! From our first initial meetings we knew we were in good hands. Having never been through this before, we initially felt overwhelmed about planning but after selecting Takk and working with Heidi, so much was taken off our plate and we were given clear guidance on timelines, expectations and deadlines in ways that was professional, gave us confidence and made the ENTIRE process fun. Choosing Takk made the process something we were able to bond over and enjoy, not stress about. Takk is a beautiful space with so much character and the same is true of the city of Troy. Heidi’s team is so creative and had a ton of options and ideas on design and logistics that made everything unique to us, flow well and stay within our budget. 10/10, no notes! Oh and the food is incredible too!”
“Beautiful architecture...always interesting art installations and displays throughout. Easy parking below...many events spaces and several daytime only options for food and shopping.”

4 Bethlehem Ct, Delmar“I haven’t been bowling in 15 years and my kids have never been. This was a really fun day! It was convenient to book a lane online and pay ahead. The parking is plentiful and the staff we dealt were friendly.Going with kids was super easy. We got some really lightweight balls, they can set up bumpers when you check in and they have kid rollers (name of it?!) that help little ones roll the ball.We didn’t get any food or drinks so I can’t speak to that but we will definitely return, possibly for a birthday party!”

60 State St, Albany“My wedding was perfect. Nor was super responsive to all of my questions, and extremely accommodating to my last minute changes to an already last minute event. Nor took on my wedding in four weeks and executed perfectly. My wedding was so beautiful, on time, and organized. I can not thank Sixty State enough for my perfect special day”
“We arrived early and on a last minute notice. Since I drive a tour bus, I need to sleep during the day and drive at night so a comfortable/quiet hotel is important. They made sure I had a quiet room and gave me a view of the bus as well as they personally got permission from the mayor to allow me to park out front. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and even gave me a space heater to make sure I could sleep well. The service alone makes this hotel worth it. Also great wifi so I was even able to play a couple games.”
“My step son Justin Park has played indoor football at Afrim's Sports park in Albany for several years. I saw a Tornado table there months ago with kids wanting to play but the table was all jammed up and not playable. Today I went to watch the indoor football game and brought my bag of Tornado tools and parts and replaced the bearings, a fews guys and pins, cleaned up the playing surface, and rods, new balls and repaired the broken coin slot. Nobody knew who I was or why I was doing this. I had my 518 Foosball shirt on and then met and exchanged personal info with the owner Afrim. I love this sport and love Afrims Sports.”

Everything from booking our ice time to getting rentals to help inside the rink has been smooth and fun! Every individual we have interacted with is so friendly, they seem genuinely happy to have you there. Plenty of spots to sit down and put skates on. Bathrooms are clean. Will certainly be back!”

660 Albany Shaker Rd, Albany“This hotel is beautiful. For those who need a place to stay, you won't be disappointed. The front desk check-in was friendly and fast. Show Evan some love when you go. He was abundantly helpful. He pratically mapped out how to get around the unique layout of the hotel. The first impression was great. Do not let the exterior fool you. The inside is spacious and modern. I want to talk about the staff. I would give the entire staff 10 stars if I could. This hotel accommodated March Madness teams, a wedding, and a 7 State Delegation Council on Friday, March 29th. Go over to the restaurant and enjoy the service of Dave, Tony, Danielle, Ava, and Hayley. Bring your groups here, and have your wedding here. The Crown Plaza has thee best Bartenders and Management I've ever experienced. Thank you all for a memorable evening! Just book the room and enjoy yourself.Rooms: I stayed in a suite that was top-tier quality. The bed was incredible. Im 140lbs and felt like i was sleeping in a cloudFood & drinks: Big D's restaurant is delicious. Try the burger. 5/5 taste and quality.Noteworthy details: Close to the Albany Airport”
